July 17Jul 17 CB Team A new rumor has many gamers claiming they'll switch to Xbox if its next-gen console has a disc drive and PlayStation's doesn't. Will this be a deciding factor for you? Personally, I've been a PlayStation person since the day we got our PS2. I don't know if I'll switch, but I certainly don't love the digital monopoly Sony is trying to create.
July 17Jul 17 CB Team I get all my games digitally these days, so disc drive won't be a factor for me. I'll figure something else out for all my movie Blu-rays.

While I totally understand why some are upset with no physical games, I'm already very much in that infrastructure. I'll also probably stay with PlayStation as well unless Xbox does something drastic in terms of their games library and overall approach. Outside of a few games, they just don't cater to the games I like to play.
July 20Jul 20 CB Team I'm a big fan of physical media these days and so is my teenager, but we may not have much of a choice in the future, unfortunately.

I've always generally preferred the lineup coming out of PlayStation compared to Xbox, which seems to lean more heavily towards FPS and action titles over RPGs.
