  3. Every era of comics has its trends. Some stick around because fans love them, while others wear out their welcome. Is there one trend you're ready to see disappear? Constant relaunches? Variant overload? Event fatigue? Characters never staying dead? Something else? For me, I'd be happy if publishers slowed down on the constant #1 relaunches. I like following a series without wondering when the numbering is going to reset again. What about everyone else?

He followed up Oppenheimer with The Odyssey and knocked that one out of the park too. So where does he go from here? What could possibly be next? I'd honestly love for him to get his shot at a Bond movie. Let him follow up Villeneuve's reboot and make the second film with the new 007 actor. He didn't make a Bond for the Broccolis because of final cut, but I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem with Amazon. A straightforwardish James Bond movie might be the closest thing Nolan ever gets to something resembling a palate cleanser.

  5. One moment in the Doomsday trailer really stood out to me. When Thor sends Mjolnir toward Steve to make sure it's really him, it made me wonder if Marvel is hinting that this isn't actually the Steve Rogers we know. Do you think he's our Steve, a multiversal variant, or even someone like Captain Hydra? Or was Thor simply making sure it was really Steve before trusting him? I'm probably reading too much into the scene, but it definitely made me curious.

What did you think??? I loved it as a classic cinematic epic and a real "journey." I'm still processing the ultimate "point that emerges, but it was deep, especially if you know history. Obvs, I have to see it again, but dammit if don't want a Nolan horror film, after this.

I'm sure that a RoboCop reboot CAN work in 2026, but is there anything it can say better than the original already did??

  8. Some heroes are great because of the hero. Others are great because of everyone around them. When you think about allies, villains, family members, and side characters, which Marvel hero has the strongest overall supporting cast? For me, Spider-Man's universe is hard to beat.

  11. Dear, ComicBook.com guys. I hope there would be a new Pokemon anime remake that will covers the Indigo League to Master Quest seasons and will coexists with Pokemon Horizons series and the new anime based on Winds and Waves. The possible remake would have classic designs with modern visuals, classic personalities, new English dub voice actors by Studiopolis, classic English names, new English singers to cover the theme song, classic catchphrases, no swear words, no inappropriate scenes and no inappropriate dialogue, Liza and Charla will be in it, a speedier remake would be The One Piece treatment. I hope this would come to Netflix or Disney+ in 2027 or 2028. I also hope …

SDCC is this week and we all know Marvel has a big panel planned. But it looks like all DC is doing is something for Lanterns. On one hand, I get Gunn's point that he can just post stuff on social media. But on the other, it feels like a missed opportunity to make a big splash to show things are still on track after Supergirl. I'm sure they've shot enough of Man of Tomorrow to put together a sizzle reel and they could announce what comes in 2028.
