Edgar Wright's movie isn't really a remake, but a new adaptation of King's book. We're getting the same thing soon with Dark Tower and Carrie, but it seems to me there are other missed opportunities for this, my pick would be The Dark Half.

As much as I’d love to be the final girl in a slasher movie, I’ll be honest – I’d probably be one of the first to die, lol. I’m not beating Michael Myers, and I’m not outrunning death in Final Destination. But, I do think I’d have a really good chance of making it out of Trick ‘r Treat. The entire movie is a love letter to Halloween, and all you need to do to survive is respect Halloween traditions. Halloween celebrations start at the beginning of July in my house, and they don’t stop until I swap my Halloween decorations for Christmas decorations in November.

I’m thinking about getting a Meta Quest for Christmas. I have never owned a VR headset before, so I’m trying to figure out if it is worth the money. If you have one, do you still use it regularly or does it get old fast? I’d also like to know which games are actually good. I see a lot of mixed opinions online, so I’d rather hear from people who really play it. What are the must play games for a new VR user? I like action, story-driven games, horror, and anything comic related. Any advice or game recommendations would help a lot. Thanks!

So, we all know that nostalgia right now is huge and that's manifesting in a lot of ways. Old shows are getting "reboots" or new seasons. We're seeing toys and things reintroduced with new versions, etc. Starbucks brought back the egg nog latte -- though I got one today and turns out they have dramatically changed it and it's awful now. What is something nostalgic that you once loved, it finally got brought back, but when it came back just wasn't the same? I think another one for me was when they sort of re-did Care Bears several years ago. The new ones just have never looked quite right to me.

What upcoming movies to end the year are you most excited about? I am looking forward to Zootopia and Wicked For Good as family movies at the end of November. My son is really excited about Five Nights at Freddy's 2, so we plan to see it at the start of December. I am also REALLY excited about Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. However, this year's Christmas movies seem blah. Sure, there is Avatar: Fire and Ash, but nothing else really screams Christmas Day theater trip. What are you looking forward to?

Even though it's been a few days, people are still speculating about the Game Awards teasers shared by Geoff Keighley and the official Game Awards account. (Here, if you haven't seen it yet) Initially, some people were speculating it was related to Elder Scrolls 6, but I'm not counting on it. Reliable insiders have now confirmed it's not Gears of War or Diablo 4. What are your theories?

It’s been recently reported that a certain someone had the influence to greenlit a new Rush Hour film. If you had the same ability over a movie executive, what movie would you want to have a sequel to ? Here’s two I would pick: The Rocketeer and 4.3.2.1. For The Rocketeer, I would love to see that world get expanded, as well as there has been multiple comic stories that could be used to get adapted for another film. For 4.3.2.1. Not only did it had an interesting premise behind it, also, it had an open ended ending that, (at least for me), be interesting to see it play out in a sequel.

The upcoming DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A introduces Mega Lucario Z, a new type of Mega Evolution. Obviously, it's only a matter of time before Charizard gets one, but the list shouldn't stop there. If I had my choice, Flygon would get both a Mega and a Z form. It's been waiting long enough to get some love.

My parents let me watch a lot of wild things when I was basically age 5+: Alien, Gremlins, Friday the 13th, etc. But I have a VERY vivid memory of watching the Xtro birth scene at one point. If you have never seen it, I'd recommend NOT seeing it. Gremlin in the microwave in Gremlins is also up there.

There are some franchises that no matter how many movies, shows, comics or games they put out, I’m probably always going to check out what comes next. For me, Marvel is definitely one of them. Even when I don't love everything they put out, I've been a fan for so long that I'm always interested in seeing what's next. What's the one franchise you don't think you'll ever get tired of?
