  1. I'm surprised they haven't added him already! He's getting more popular again, so I'm sure he will be there soon.
  2. Welcome to the forum! I love TMNT as well! Are you reading the current comic series?
  3. I haven't heard anything. Are they planning on doing it soon?
  4. I haven’t played Marvel Rivals yet, but Nightcrawler would be an amazing addition. His teleportation could make for some really creative gameplay. Doctor Doom would be another great pick just because of how iconic he is and he's my favorite villain.
  5. For me, Gambit and Rogue have always stood out. Their dynamic and history make their relationship feel earned, and it’s been interesting to see how it’s evolved over time. Reed Richards and Sue Storm are another favorite. They’ve been through so much together, and their relationship has always felt like a core part of the Fantastic Four.
  6. I'll go read this tonight.
  7. This reminds me that I need to read this one! I have it, but I'm 2 or 3 issues behind. I'll read it and come back to this thread.
  8. Spider-Man is probably the biggest example for me. Peter and Mary Jane were married for years, and it added a lot of emotional weight to his life without taking away what made him relatable. Ever since that was undone, it’s felt like his character has been kept in the same place instead of being allowed to grow. I think letting him be married again would open the door to some really strong storytelling.
  9. Since Valentine’s Day just passed, it got me thinking about some of the great relationships in comics. Who is your favorite couple from DC or Marvel?
  10. I'm not entirely sure about RDJ being cast as Doom either. I wonder what the backstory will be. Is he a Tony Stark variant? Will he just be RDJ in this film? I feel like he won't be the true MCU Doctor Doom and they will eventually have to recast him to find someone who will play the role for years. However, I think his performance will be great because he's a great actor, I just don't feel that it was the best choice long-term. It's almost like they wanted to cash in on RDJ one more time before passing the torch to another actor and I just hope it doesn't backfire because Doctor Doom is a major player in so many of these stories.
  11. Let me know how it goes! I'm going to flip through Dragon Delves today since I have some time finally.
  12. That’s awesome! Stepping into the DM role for the first time has to be both exciting and a little intimidating. I haven’t watched any actual play streams yet, but it’s something I’ve been meaning to check out since I want to learn how to play. I actually won a copy of Dragon Delves and an adult red dragon tyrant recently, which made me want to get more involved. A subreddit I’m active in has also been trying to get me to try the Marvel Multiverse RPG, so I feel like I’m getting closer to finally jumping in. Do you think watching actual play streams helped you feel more prepared to DM?
  13. Same! I had my kids watch the old Twilight Zone series and they loved the fact that it was in black and white. Some stories are just better without color.
  14. Agreed! They probably think the average person would prefer to see it in color, but they won't know what they're missing out on if they skip black and white.
  15. I’m pretty new to VR, but I’ve always loved the Ninja Turtles, so I'm already sold on this one. It’s supposed to come out in Spring 2026, and I’m really curious how they’re going to bring that world to life in VR. Feels like TMNT could be a perfect fit if they do it right. Here’s the official page with gameplay and details: https://www.meta.com/experiences/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-empire-city/6635073589916590/ Curious what everyone thinks so far.
  16. I'm slowly starting to do the same. I still pick up new comics weekly, but get most of my reading from digital.
  17. It surprised my kids when they saw Captain America waste someone the first time and I had to remind them that he's not Batman 😂
  18. Gotta get the Muppets covers 😂I do the same for certain characters like Gambit, Doctor Doom, Galactus, or Juggernaut. If I see either of those on a cover I grab it even if I'm not really into the series.
  19. Same! I view comics as art and love to grab interesting covers. I usually swap them out routinely in my work space so I always have something cool to look at while I'm typing away : )
  20. I do the same! I mean I always grab cover A is it's a series I collect, but I'll grab my favorite art too if I have room.
  21. I always grab Cover A as well and get a variant if I really like the art and have extra money. When I collect runs, I always feel like it's not complete unless I have cover A.
  22. Lucky! I bet that was fun! I have a similar story; my grandfather and uncle opened a comic shop when I was little and would bring home random boxes of comics. I was hooked immediately : )
  23. That's a great tradition of reading comics to kids to get them interested in reading. I do that with my kids as well.
  24. That's great that you kept them! I know a lot of people lose their old comics and toys from childhood, but that's cool that you were able to keep up with them all this time.
  25. I agree! I feel that's the right way to watch it. At least the first viewing.
