  1. That's awesome! I have Marvel Unlimited also and I'm on book 47 of 50 for Immortal Hulk and have loved it! I would have never picked up that series if I had to buy all 50 comics, it would have been too expensive. I also like how you can choose a character and read through multiple series if you want to focus on one at a time. Have you tried DC's digital? I'm thinking about getting it so I can catch up on the Absolute universe.
  2. I still love physical books and never thought I would like digital, but I've been using Marvel Unlimited for about a month and have read tons of books I would not have been able to find. It's also saved a ton of money on long series. I still buy physical comics weekly, but now I read about 5 digital comics per day and it's not very expensive at all. I recommend trying it, especially if you want to read older books that are hard to find. I started reading some old X-Men comics and it's pretty interesting.
  3. I've been reading Marvel Unlimited for about a month now and I actually love it! I wasn't sure I would like it since I've always preferred physical books, but now I'm able to read books I would have never bought or couldn't afford. I'm almost done with Immortal Hulk, 50 issues, and it would have taken me forever to chase down all of those back issues. I'm considering getting DC next.
  4. I don't know anything about it really, but I'll definitely watch it! Especially with Nick Cage.
  5. I did one of his speeches for a theatre class years ago. I can't remember which one, but it may have been that one. I'll have to rewatch it.
  6. It's such a great series! You could watch it hundreds of times and still find something new. In fact, I think it's time for another rewatch. It's probably been a year or longer since I've watched them.
  7. Yep! That's another great scene that will live forever.
  8. I was surprised they didn't release anything, but maybe that's a good thing. I honestly didn't like any of the commercials and eventually just checked out and stopped watching the game.
  9. I must have missed it, but just now went back and watched it. I'm still not sure what it is. Are they making a movie? It didn't really spark my interest at all. It felt like a truck commercial.
  10. I love that Spider-Man series! Every time we watch it, my kids want to watch the entire trilogy in one sitting.
  11. That's one of those classic series that never gets old! I watched it with my kids and it's still just as good as when it came out.
  12. Have you watched it all the way through yet? I love every second of it lol It's one of those movies that you need to watch without any distractions. I turn my phone off so I'm not tempted to scroll when I watch it.
  13. With so many comics available digitally now, I’m curious how many people are using services like Marvel Unlimited or DC Universe Infinite. Do you use either of them, and has it changed how you read or collect comics?
  14. This week we're watching Presumed Innocent. Last week we watched The Night Of and before that it was Defending Jacob with Chris Evans. I've been into murder-mystery legal drama miniseries lately. These 3 are really good if you like that sort of thing.
  15. That's a great idea! I was actually going to make a Hulk thread, but it may be better to do a separat Immortal Hulk thread and get everyone's thoughts on the series. I have maybe 4 more issues to read and I'll be finished with it. Thinking about going to the next Hulk series that has 30 issues right before Infernal Hulk.
  16. Slash is a great character! I haven't read Battle Nexus, but it's on my list.
  17. I just now rewatched that clip after seeing your answer and it's still just as good as the day it came out! This is one of those movies that never ages!
  18. Even though I've seen it a milllion times, that scene still gets me. I think it's time for a rewatch soon!
  19. That's actually the scene I was thinking of when I wrote this! I love it too!
  20. There are so many memorable moments across the trilogy, from battles to quieter character scenes. Which scenes are your favorite?
  21. I still need to start the Absolute Superman series. I have all of them, but have been reading Immortal Hulk straight through and will go to Superman as soon as I'm done. I've heard great things about Absolute Superman and looking forward to it.
  22. I remember the animated version of The Hobbit being amazing, even a little scary in some parts. I haven't really gotten into the 3-part Hobbit series, but that's just because I only saw it once and the kids were a little rowdy throughout. I love the original trilogy.
  23. Jurassic Park was HUGE when we were kids! I actually watched it last week with the kids and they loved it. It's one of the few movies that doesn't seem to age at all and is always watchable.
  24. I did watch Lord of the Rings quite a bit and still watch it yearly with the kids. They love it and I'm so glad it aged well. I don't think it will ever go out of style.
