  1. I was really hoping they would do the Last Ronin storyline, but I guess they figured they should try to cash in on a few more movies in between before they do the "last" movie. I'm open to see what they do with the franchise, but I wasn't a huge fan of the latest entries.
  2. Wow episode 800?! I can't believe how long the Simpsons have been running! I was a little kid when it first came out. I'll have to think back to my favorite episode and get the name of it.
  3. It’s New Comic Book Day again. What was on your pull list this week? Did you grab any new releases or find any interesting back issues while you were there? This was a great week for new comics and I came home with a huge stack of comics!
  4. My favorite is the Dragon's Breath shotgun scene in John Wick: Chapter 4! I like how it's top-down like a video game.
  5. That's what I use it for too. There are so many different series that I normally wouldn't buy or that I would have to buy 50+ comics to catch up and the app makes it easier. I'm considering getting the DC app as well and test it out. There are a lot of Absolute Universe series I want to read and don't want to track down all the back issues.
  6. That's quite a journey! Digital is definitely convenient. My "local" comic shop is about an hour and a half away, but I go to that town once a week anyway so it's easy to just stop by.
  7. Yes! I just watched it again and it gives me chill bumps! I like how close they came to losing right there.
  8. It was so brutal! That movie gives you a feeling of dread. I wouldn't mind watching it again.
  9. Yep! My youngest watched the new Spider-Man movies and it didn't really interest him... then I put on Tobey Maguire and he was so into it and forced me to keep them rolling until we watched all 3 in one sitting : )
  10. That's a good amount of viewings per year! I need to up my game : )
  11. Storage can definitely be an issue with comics! I have so many boxes in different places and storage units it's insane lol. Digital definitely helps with that. I still buy quite a few comics every Wednesday because I like physical media and I like to support and hang out with my local comic shop. I'm reading through Marvel Unlimited, but considering getting DC next week as well. DC has so many great comics coming out all the time and it's getting hard to keep up with all of the series.
  12. That's fair. I still like having physical media, but I've been reading series I normally wouldn't be able to because it would be too hard to track down back issues. I have Marvel Unlimited, but thinking about getting DC soon as well to catch up on the Absolute universe without having to buy so many comics.
  13. That's awesome! I have Marvel Unlimited also and I'm on book 47 of 50 for Immortal Hulk and have loved it! I would have never picked up that series if I had to buy all 50 comics, it would have been too expensive. I also like how you can choose a character and read through multiple series if you want to focus on one at a time. Have you tried DC's digital? I'm thinking about getting it so I can catch up on the Absolute universe.
  14. I still love physical books and never thought I would like digital, but I've been using Marvel Unlimited for about a month and have read tons of books I would not have been able to find. It's also saved a ton of money on long series. I still buy physical comics weekly, but now I read about 5 digital comics per day and it's not very expensive at all. I recommend trying it, especially if you want to read older books that are hard to find. I started reading some old X-Men comics and it's pretty interesting.
  15. I've been reading Marvel Unlimited for about a month now and I actually love it! I wasn't sure I would like it since I've always preferred physical books, but now I'm able to read books I would have never bought or couldn't afford. I'm almost done with Immortal Hulk, 50 issues, and it would have taken me forever to chase down all of those back issues. I'm considering getting DC next.
  16. I don't know anything about it really, but I'll definitely watch it! Especially with Nick Cage.
  17. I did one of his speeches for a theatre class years ago. I can't remember which one, but it may have been that one. I'll have to rewatch it.
  18. It's such a great series! You could watch it hundreds of times and still find something new. In fact, I think it's time for another rewatch. It's probably been a year or longer since I've watched them.
  19. Yep! That's another great scene that will live forever.
  20. I was surprised they didn't release anything, but maybe that's a good thing. I honestly didn't like any of the commercials and eventually just checked out and stopped watching the game.
  21. I must have missed it, but just now went back and watched it. I'm still not sure what it is. Are they making a movie? It didn't really spark my interest at all. It felt like a truck commercial.
  22. I love that Spider-Man series! Every time we watch it, my kids want to watch the entire trilogy in one sitting.
  23. That's one of those classic series that never gets old! I watched it with my kids and it's still just as good as when it came out.
  24. Have you watched it all the way through yet? I love every second of it lol It's one of those movies that you need to watch without any distractions. I turn my phone off so I'm not tempted to scroll when I watch it.
