Haha nice!

Definitely! TMNT is awesome! Have you seen the TMNT manhole covers in Dover? I would love to see it in person.

It’s New Comic Book Day again! What’s on your pull list this week? Did you grab any new releases, or pick up some interesting back issues while you were there?

Welcome to the forum, Jeff! There are so many cool discussions to get into on here. Feel free to participate in some threads.

Well, we still need to learn why Thor was crying 😂

Looking back, I can't remember really liking GOT that much either. Some of it was OK, but I didn't like it as much as most people do.

I don't think I've seen even half of them lol I need to catch up!

This one might take a little more digging than the superhero version, but a lot of villains are tied to real places too. If you had to pick just one, who do you think is the most famous villain from where you’re from?

I'm from Louisiana, so of course we have Gambit! The coolest X-Man! And yes, I understood nearly everything he said in Deadpool and Wolverine 😂 I don't talk like that, but a lot of people from here do.

That's a pretty solid lineup!

Nice! We went to Metropolis, Illiniois and it's a small town that has Superman stuff everywhere! We had to take pictures in front of the huge Superman statue.

I'll do one for villains next! Let's hear about superheroes from Brazil!

Thanks for the recommendations! I wrote them all down and will start getting them. I've seen Hush in the smaller books, which is cool because they're easy to carry.

I was thinking the same thing lol we've heard them a certain way for so long. I'm sture it will still be good though.

It looks fun! The voices threw me off a little at first since it's not the original characters, but it's still pretty good.

I'm going with Batman! Katie Holmes being replaced as Rachel Dawes in The Dark Knight always felt a little off to me. Maggie Gyllenhaal did a solid job, but the change was noticeable.

Horror Candyland would be insane!

I agree with both of those. I tried Star Trek, but it didn't resonate with me. Same for Doctor Who, but honestly, I probably didn't give it a chance.

I was thinking about how many characters are tied to real places, and it got me wondering which superheroes people associate with their home state. Who do you think is the most famous superhero from where you’re from?

Welcome to the forum! That's cool that you make comics!

Appreciate all the suggestions so far. To give a little more context, here’s what I already have sitting on my shelf that I haven’t read yet. Some are random books within series, but I'll start putting them together over time. Curious what you’d prioritize or save for later: Batman: The Long Halloween Batman: The Court of Owls 1 Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Batman and Robin Eternal Batman Eternal 2 Batman The Wedding 7 Batman and Robin: The Big Burn 5 Batman Detective Comics: Blood of Heroes 8 Batman Detective Comics: Icarus Batman and Robin: Dark Knight vs. White Knight Arkham Asylum: Living Hell Batman RIP Batman Earth One Batman Zero Year 4 and 5 Batman and Robin Must Die!

I found this for $10 in a bargain bin! It was basically brand new. I've been wanting it for a while.

I'll check, but I think I have The Dark Knight Returns and I thought I saw Year One in the box too. I'll check out some of Grant Morrison's run also.

I'll add that one to the list!

I’ve been thinking about this lately, and it feels like some characters really shine more in team books or as supporting players than when they’re carrying a solo title. Curious who you think fits that mold, and why.
