FantasticJerome

I don't think I've ever watched it, but I remember hearing about it years ago.

There are a lot of characters in the Marvel universe who could probably straighten out anyone’s life if they sat you down for a pep talk. Tony Stark has the genius tech mindset and knows how to reinvent himself when things fall apart. Doctor Doom has unmatched will power and refuses to give up on any goal he sets. Captain America could probably talk anyone into becoming a better version of themselves. Even someone like Magneto would have some intense motivational advice that stays with you for years. If you had to choose one Marvel character to guide your life and give you advice, who would you pick and why?

I like Scott Bakula. I met him in New Orleans when we were filming NCIS and he was extremely down to earth. Some of the younger actors had no idea who he was, so I had to show them clips from Quantum Leap : ) I'm all for him coming back for Star Trek!

I remember that! I don't think I ever watched it though. I'll put it on the list to watch.

Predator vs. 80s Rambo!

Same! Our kids stay up late and we're exhausted by the time they go to bed lol

It's so hard not to start collecting them lol. I have two of the alien popcorn buckets and may get the ship from this one and just give them their own shelf : )

Congrats! Now I'm going to go watch Alien Earth!

I didn't get a chance to pick them up the other day, but will get them next week. I liked the Aliens vs. Avengers and hope this one is good as well.

Did anyone get the popcorn buckets?

I haven't seen this one but I'll check it out!

I'll read this after I see it.

I was thinking the same haha

I can't wait! I love anything Predator related.

I hope it's good!

I'll check this out!

I subscribe to Rook Exodus and Alien vs. Captain America and can't wait to pick them up. I'm really curious to see Cap handle Xenomorphs! I've been collecting graphic novels and trade paperbacks lately, but still grab a few comics every week.

Awesome! This is a really fun forum, especially if you like comics!

Let's have a Batman watch party! I haven't seen either one in years.

We’ve seen characters like Loki and Deadpool get the spotlight and win fans over, but who else deserves a redemption arc: someone who was misused, forgotten, or just got a bad adaptation? Would you fix it with a new actor, a darker tone, or a fresh storyline? Curious to hear everyone’s picks.

Just sent in my nomination for Stronghold Collectibles in Lafayette, Louisiana. They’ve built one of the best comic communities I’ve ever seen. The staff and owners go out of their way to help people, and they even organized a drive to help rebuild my collection after my family lost our home in a fire right before Christmas last year. When I showed up at the shop, they loaded my vehicle with boxes of comics and graphic novels. They host live shows on Discord multiple times a week and make everyone feel like part of the family. Easily one of the best and most inviting shops out there.

I was going to say the same thing lol

I love Juggernaut! He was always one of my favorites because he couldn't be stopped once he started moving. I want to get his first appearance comic one day even if it's in rough shape so I can display it in my home office.

Oooh I didn't even think about Odin and Hela! That would be a great trilogy.

I’d love to see a Doctor Doom movie, obviously. He’s one of the few villains who could anchor an entire story without needing a hero to balance him. I also think Juggernaut could work if they leaned into the mythology behind Cytorrak. There’s enough lore there to build a dark, supernatural storyline that goes way beyond just brute strength that most people link to Juggernaut.
