With The Game Awards out of the way, we've got some ideas about the big new games headed our way in 2026. So... what are you looking forward to the most as of now?

For me, it's got to be Witchbrook, Pokemon Pokopia, and the new Fable game (provided it actually ends up coming out in 2026).

Oh god. There are so many. The biggest ones for me would have to be Wolverine and Saros.

Resident Evil Requiem

Control Resonant

Pragmata

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

007 First Light

The Halo remake (can I just say how weird it was to wishlist this on the PS Store?)

The Tomb Raider remake

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

Also have my eye on Star Wars Racer, but I'm waiting to see how extensive the single player content is before I get it or not. I'm not interested in multiplayer.

So yeah. My wallet is in for a world of pain next year lol

Always exciting AND overwhelming when we go into the new year with a wishlist like that! I'm definitely curious about Wolverine and Tomb Raider, as well.

I never played the original Tomb Raider, but I know it's an iconic game, so I'm excited to check that one out.

I just played my first Tomb Raider game this year, so you're in good company. I really ended up liking it, so I'm excited to play more of them.

@ChrisA90 already did a wonderful job mentioning some of my most anticipated. So I'll just add Duskbloods and Hollow Knight: Silksong - Sea of Sorrow

Another one I'll mention is Gears of War: E-Day, assuming it comes to PS5 in 2026 (I don't have Xbox). I'm assuming Microsoft is planning to release it on PS5 at some point, but who knows if it'll be Day 1 or after an exclusive window. I played Gears of War Reloaded over the summer and had fun, so I'd like to play more of this series.

There's a lot. Almost too much to list. I'll just broadly say that I think 2026 looks ten times better on paper for new game releases than 2025. I found this year to be a bit disappointing.

Really excited for 007 First Light, probably more than I ever expected. Perfect time for a new Bond game, and so far dig the approach

I am so curious about Fable. It's been in development so long lol, but I loved the previous games so I'll defintiely play it.

I've played the first two of the new trilogy but haven't done Shadow of the Tomb Raider yet. Might have to give that one a go before Legacy of Atlantis since they're doing this unified timeline thing now.

Shadow's great, and I'm thinking of going back and playing Rise and Shadows before Atlantis.

I played the first of the new trilogy, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. It was so good!

Did you play the beta at all? I'm really curious to play the full game, but from that sample size, I'm not sure it dethrones Street Fighter or Tekken for me
