Which B or C List Character Deserves Their Own Series in 2026

All of us have our favorite comic characters who aren't exactly in the Spider-Man, Batman, or Wonder Woman tier of characters. Still, that doesn't mean they don't deserve some shine, so if you've got a non-A-list tier character you want to see get some solo spotlight in 2026, let us know who they are and what you'd like to see!

One of my most anticipated series of next year is Imperial Guardians, as it includes one of my favorites in Darkhawk (not to mention Captain Marvel). Since that's covered, I'm going to pivot to wanting a new series spotlighting Detective Chimp or Huntress. Huntress was supposed to get a spotlight in the Red Hood series, but since that's been cancelled and Birds of Prey is also not continuing, I need Huntress to get some shine in a solo series.

I’d live to see a Booster Gold series again.

And since there are so many Transformers, I’d love to see a series shining lights on solo adventures of both Autobots and Decepticons. Would love to see a Dinobots solo outing, or a Constructicons short story.

Great question! Marvel has a lot of characters who feel like they are just one good run away from really clicking.

For me, I would love to see Sleepwalker get a proper solo series. He has such a weird and interesting concept, and Marvel has never really leaned all the way into it. I think a modern run that plays up the psychological or slightly horror side of the character could be really fun and feel different from a lot of what’s on the shelves right now.

He is one of those characters I always remember liking, but he never seems to stick around long enough to really build momentum. With the right creative team, I think he could surprise a lot of people.

Sonic X Power Rangers crossover comic book series. Imagine Mario teams up with the Masked Rider (or Kamen Rider).

Mario x Masked Rider would be amazing, love it!

100% agree. There is so much untapped potential with the Sleepwalker character. It's the same way I feel about Darkhawk or Nova, though they get more chances than Sleepwalker does

ANIMAL MAN!

This feels like a character primed for an explosive place in Gunn's DCU, so I hope they can get him back in a series in some way.

Animal Man is a perfect choice! Would love to see him in the mix
