March 11Mar 11 I understand not every one likes Jar Jar Binks, but I think he could've been a great character. He made me laugh on screen. Sometimes comedic fillers don't work out, and I think that was the angle of him? But from what I remember, in some scenes, he made me laugh. Maybe a better character development for him would've been well recieved, but I can see him making a cameo- had things been different, in a mini animation series with some of the other characters we don't see often. 💻⌨️📽🎬🙏🏼✝️💖🩷💕

March 12Mar 12 CB Team Full disclosure, I’ve only seen the Star Wars movies once and it was quite some time ago. But Jar Jar Binks annoyed me to no end, lol. He definitely fills that more comedic role, though, and I agree that he probably would have worked much better with more character development. He’d definitely work great in an animated series! I'd be curious to see if my opinion of him changes on a second watch.
March 12Mar 12 CB Team As a '90s baby who grew up with the prequels, I will always have a soft spot for Jar Jar. He entertained me when I was a kid. Yeah, it doesn't hit as well as an adult, but you can see what Lucas was going for. And the character was also an important milestone in movie VFX. Jar Jar walked so Gollum could run.I always thought it would have been cool if he made a cameo in Episode 9 to do something like give Finn and Poe important intel on the First Order to help take them down. Redemption arc for giving Palpatine the emergency powers in AOTC.We will probably never see him in live action again, but I'm happy Ahmed Best knows he's loved and appreciated now. Seeing him in Mando Season 3 was such a great moment.
March 13Mar 13 I think a Jar Jar Binks and Warlock (from the New Mutants) would make a great limited series.
March 14Mar 14 Jar Jar grew on me over time, i loved him as a kid, he annoyed me in my early adulthood, and now approaching 40, i love him again. Besides, everyone knows he is actually a sith.
