AAA video games have generally been a huge letdown over the past few years, particularly those in open worlds. GTA 6 might end up being drastically better than anyone expects simply because of how underwhelming the rest of the industry has been.

For everything like this that comes out now, even if it does end up being great, there will be contrarian takes.In the end, I think it's going to be an Earth-shaking game if only because they've been working on it for so long. People are going to be playing and discovering things about this for years.

June 23Jun 23 CB Team I think GTA 6 will meet the hype, if only because it's GTA and most of the games under that banner become huge hits even with their flaws. There will always be those who don't like them, but they were around for 4 and 5 too, and those games were still monsters.
