LEGEND OF ZELDA MOVIE - CASTING

I've been a fan of the Zelda games since I was a kid, so I'm really looking forward to this movie. So far, I actually like the casting.

I was also happy to hear that Sam Neill was part of the cast. If this really ends up being his final on-screen performance, that gives the movie an even more special place for me.

We now have Ganondorf cast, alongside Link and Zelda.

How do we feel about that Ganon casting? The other casting? The movie in general?

Has it been confirmed that Sam Neill filmed scenes for this?

I'm still struggling to wrap my head around a live-action Link, given that the character never speaks in the games. But I am excited to see what they do with it. And I'd like to place my bets now on Sam Neill as Rauru.

I still don't understand why they didn't go the animation route. The monster, the action, all that would look so much better with crisp animation (think Castlevania, for instance). From a storytelling perspective, I'm also worried about how they would deal with temples and collectibles, which are 100% of the time essential for any Zelda story, but work badly in a feature film context, as they are inherently episodic.

I'm keeping my mind open to the possibility that this will be good. But I do have serious questions that will only be answered after some footage is available.
