August 17Aug 17 CB Team D23 was stacked with announcements, but obviously the X-Men castings were one of the big moments of the night. The cast looks great so far, and gotta say I don't have an issue with any of them so far. Curious if we get Iceman, Angel, Beast, and Gambit soon to round out the team, but it's a stellar start. What do you think of the cast? August 17Aug 17 CB Team Overall, I'm happy with the casting. I don't know the Storm actress, but Adam Driver and Samara Weaving are perfect mtached to their roles. Everyone else seems good too, although Inde Navarette could do something weirder, like Mystique, quite well.
August 18Aug 18 CB Team I'm not super familiar with most of the announced cast, so I'll have to wait and see them in the roles. It's hard to mentally replace the actors I first knew from the 2000s movies, but I'm excited to see new live action takes on these characters. Already liked what I saw from Sadie Sink as Jean Gray in Brand New Day, so looking forward to the X-Men reboot more now.
August 18Aug 18 CB Team The only actor I'm super familiar with on the list is Adam Driver. I've only seen Navarrette in Obsession and Sink in Stranger Things (before Brand New Day, of course). I don't think I've seen any of the others in anything. But Marvel has always excelled at casting, so I trust them.I like that Driver isn't Magneto. I've been rewatching the Fox X-Men movies, and Ian McKellen was perfect. Christopher Abbott has a very tough act to follow in Patrick Stewart. At least Driver can put his own stamp on a character.
August 19Aug 19 CB Team I honestly don't know much about some of the actors, but I have faith that they made great choices. They usually tend to do right with casting at least.
