We're halfway through the year (somehow), so what's the best new show that's premiered over the past six months that's become your favorite? For me, it's Widow's Bay. I think Apple is quietly becoming the best streaming service, and this show just checks every box for me.

The news article regarding the "unknown" prototypes of Planet of the Apes (https://www.ebay.com/itm/389495134742) ... For what it's worth; these prototypes (I believe they are the same ones) used to be owned by Tom Tumbusch of Tomart's Action Figure Digest fame, of which I served as EIC for a number of years in the late '90s and early 2000s. While they sat in a box in the display room of our offices the entire time I worked there, I remember him showing the protos to me once, and he referred to them as prototypes for a Congo spin-off. Obsession came out of its 7th weekend by overtaking The Exorcist in the domestic box office. That's massive! Still, every time I see news of the movie's box office, I keep thinking about how little the cast and crew earned. 750K for the entire budget also means 750K to split among everyone who worked on the movie. It's pennies for Hollywood standards, and pales in comparison to what the people who got the rights of distribution will receive. Jason Blum alone is reportedly getting 17 MILLION. It feels quite unfair. What do you think?

I really enjoyed the first three episodes. And yet... One thing definitely jarred for me. The Jubilee plot, because she's basically become Boom-Boom (right down to having Boom Boom's boyfriend as well as being part of the same team lol). What are your thoughts on the episodes, and Jubilee basically morphing into full-on Boom Boom?
