I'm sure this theory has been discussed before but it still fascinates me to this day. Stephen Kings books and therefore movie adaptations always seem to center around children with psychic abilities that came about through some kind of trauma and the fact that they had to use their vivid imagination to cope. These kids are always being hunted by some kind of interdimensional creature/monster/entity that feeds on the emotional energy these special children produce. Pennywise in IT fed on kids or people who were in a state of terror because he said it made them taste better. If you have read Absolute Superman #18, I would love to know what you thought of the issue! SPOILERS FOLLOW FROM HERE You can read my full review right here, but simply put, I adored this issue, and especially how King Shazam's origin and his mythology were so seamlessly mixed in with Superman's. This series is one of my favorites, and books like this are the perfect example of why I hold it in such esteem. Also, Shazam looks amazing, but I did not see Absolute Steel almost stealing the show! Really digging the new design. Let me know what you thought, and what your favorite part was!

I recently got to cover the upcoming major changes to The Elder Scrolls Online, which is shifting to a seasonal, more live-service-y model after 12 years. That got me thinking about longrunning live service games and how they can start to feel like a chore to keep up with. Do you play any live service games? Which ones are in your current rotation if so? I mostly keep up with mobile games live service wise because it's easier to check in on the go. I've got Pokemon Go, Pokemon TCG Pocket, Pokemon Sleep (are we sensing a theme?) and then Umamusume: Pretty Derby in my app rotation right now.
