It's the first weekend of a new month and we had a couple of great games release right at the end of April. What's your gaming look like this weekend? I'm hoping to get into inKONBINI, which has been getting pretty positive reviews.

Hello, ComicBook.com team. I know Sega has no plans for the Sonic Adventure remakes. Here is the proposal message for it. “Dear Sega, we hear Takashi Iizuka’s concerns: a remake is as much work as a new game. But Sonic Adventure isn't just an old game; it’s the DNA of the modern franchise. If you aren't ready to build it from the ground up, give the fans the 'Generations' treatment—remake the iconic levels within a modern engine. We don't need a 1:1 recreation; we need the feeling of 1998 with the polish of 2026. Give us the Garden, give us the 'Open Zone' hubs, and we’ll show you that the 'Adventure' era is exactly what modern gaming needs. We need modern voice actors t…

Over the years, we haven't really had a chance to see Skeletor's origin story fully fleshed out, but a new comic series from Dark Horse (Masters of the Universe: Genesis) seems to be finally bringing that to light. From the Skeletor backstories we've had over the years, which one do you hope the film goes with? We've had Skeletor from another dimension, Skeletor first being Keldor, or Keldor and Randor actually being brothers and dueling for the throne, but there could also be a completely original origin story for the film.

Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking about those games that just never get old - no matter how many new releases come out, you always find yourself going back. For me, it’s Destiny 2. I can hop in anytime, and it just feels like coming home. What about you? Which game do you always return to and what keeps pulling you back - story, gameplay, nostalgia or something else? Can’t wait to hear your favorites!

New set photos from the first season of HBO's Harry Potter reboot confirm the original book ending is seemingly being restored where Harry is reunited with Vernon Dursley at King's Cross. And there's also a major tease that Hermione's parents will be there. https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/new-look-at-hbos-harry-potter-reboot-changes-the-movie-ending-teases-another-book-change/ This fits with speculation that we'll see more of Hermione's life outside of Hogwarts. That's good news, because by the time it comes for her to wipe her parents' memories in the final season, it'll hurt more.

Alright, I’ll say it: Batman gets way more credit than he deserves. He’s often portrayed as the ultimate strategist and the most compelling character in DC—but when you really look at it, his villains are far more interesting than he is. The Joker, Two-Face, even lesser-used characters like Calendar Man often bring more depth, unpredictability, and narrative tension than Batman himself. Think about it—how many Batman stories are truly about him, versus being driven by his rogues gallery? Without them, he’s just a brooding guy with money and gadgets. And here’s the real kicker: if Batman didn’t have plot armor and near-omniscient writing behind him, would he actually stand…

With Black Clover and Chainsaw Man ending in such quick succession, it made me think back on all the endings we've seen from the last of the 2010 generation. Which has been your favorite so far? To me, it's been Haikyu since it gives every single character you would care about a satisfying ending and that really hasn't been topped. But the competition is fierce! https://comicbook.com/anime/list/7-2010s-shonen-jump-endings-ranked-by-how-well-they-hold-up/

Evil Dead Burn trailer is out - what did we think? Evil Dead going down at a family funeral? Is it going to be more gnarly, or create more "drama" than we're used to from an Evil Dead flick? So far, I know some of the visuals are... pretty striking. TRAILER: https://comicbook.com/movies/news/a-45-year-old-horror-favorite-gets-a-terrifying-new-sequel-watch-the-evil-dead-burn-trailer/

So, the new trailer for The Odyssey has received some backlash for its use of the words "daddy" and "dad." How do you feel about this? I don't think it's a big deal. Everyone is talking in English and seems to have American accents. Who cares if Robert Pattinson says daddy? This movie looks awesome.

So, in a new interview Meryl Streep said that movies have been "Marvel-ized" with largely one dimensional heroes and villains and it's made movies boring. I tend to agree with her-- but I don't think that means Marvel movies are bad. I think the black and white nature of superhero stories work very well for Marvel movies but would be hard to pull off in other genres. What are your thoughts?
