Hi all, just wanted to share some nerdiness and share that this is my first time going through a Star Trek series and watching every episode in order. I am absolutely hooked and love the characters and storylines of The Next Generation. While I've been looking for merch, I found out that a special additional character is going to be popping up soon and I cannot wait! Each episode introduces new characters or showcases our interactions with individuals who are different from us, and I think that's so moving to see humanity at its best. It's officially April, which means a new slate of movies in theaters! April is looking to be a pretty strong lineup for new movie releases, so which are you most looking forward to? I'm personally interested in seeing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (gotta see Yoshi on the big screen!!!) and Lee Cronin's The Mummy. My fianceé is also dragging me to the theater for the Michael Jackson biopic.

I have always been a fan of the original Teen Titans. I had always hoped Todd McFarlane would create the original version of the Teen Titans. He's already done Kid Flash, but it would be awesome to have Speedy, original Wonder Girl and the original Aqualad!!! I have the Mego versions in my collection now

Everyone's excited for Dunesday, but did you know there's a new Jumanji movie coming out this December too? Not sure what Sony's thought process is here. I know the past two held their own against Star Wars movies, but it still seems crazy to me to put this out against Avengers and Dune. If it was or the other it would probably work, but I don't see how three major tentpoles can coexist in the same window. I'm sure Sony wants that holiday season box office money, but I think they should really move Jumanji out of December completely. Whether it opens a week before Dunesday or a week after, I think it's gonna get crushed.

Kevin Feige has basically confirmed Yelena will be in Brand New Day. Kinda weird he'd do this now just a few weeks out from release, but whatever. How do you think Yelena will fit into the movie? She's probably gonna have just a small role that teases Doomsday in some way. That would be my guess.

The success of X-Men '97 is kind of amazing, it's the highest rated Marvel show ever. Given the post-credit scene in this week's episode with the Avengers, should Marvel be expanding this corner of animation with more shows? I'm glad they haven't indicated they're doing this because expansion often leads to lesser quality, but anyone else eager for an aniamted MCU across multiple shows?

With a new rumor that Half-Life 3 is close to completion, I wanted to create a thread dedicated to one thing: betting whether it's true and whether Half-Life 3 will ever be released. Do you think it will, or is it perpetual vaporware? My personal bet is that a new Half-Life game is in the works, but it's not called 'Half-Life 3,' nor do I think we will ever get a game called this.
