I rewatched the first RDJ Sherlock Holmes movie for the first time in years recently. I didn't like it as much as I did when I first saw it, but it was still a pretty fun time. If they brought the band back together for a third one of these (I can't believe it's been 15 years since the sequel), I'd go see it. RDJ and Jude Law are great together. But I'm also not clamoring for it the way I might have been years ago. Anyone here hoping Sherlock Holmes 3 ever gets made?

Overall, I'm enjoying it! Some episodes are stronger than others, but they managed to recapture the flow of the original run. I think some key charcters being absent is weird (what do you mean Carla needs extra shifts when Turk is Chief of Surgery? Did no one research medical salaries?). Still, I overall enjoy the new season, and I would definitely watch more if they renew it.

I'm not talking about movies that came out before you were born. This is for movies that you very easily could have gone to see in theaters and didn't, only to regret that choice when you finally watched it on home media. For example, I didn't see Sicario in theaters even though I loved Prisoners a couple years prior. Don't know what I was thinking there. I skipped Silence in theaters even though Scorsese is one of my favorite directors. Again, what was I thinking? There are plenty from that 2020-2021 period I would have loved to have seen in theaters, but I don't necessarily regret those because pandemic.

For those of you who have seen Project Hail Mary, do you want a sequel? As much as I love the movie, I would be perfectly fine with it staying a standalone. It told its story and the ending is perfect. Don't ruin it. The good news is that reports are saying "Weir is in the driver's seat" when it comes to a sequel, so hopefully it won't happen unless he has a strong enough idea.

Kevin Feige has basically confirmed Yelena will be in Brand New Day. Kinda weird he'd do this now just a few weeks out from release, but whatever. How do you think Yelena will fit into the movie? She's probably gonna have just a small role that teases Doomsday in some way. That would be my guess.

The success of X-Men '97 is kind of amazing, it's the highest rated Marvel show ever. Given the post-credit scene in this week's episode with the Avengers, should Marvel be expanding this corner of animation with more shows? I'm glad they haven't indicated they're doing this because expansion often leads to lesser quality, but anyone else eager for an aniamted MCU across multiple shows?

With a new rumor that Half-Life 3 is close to completion, I wanted to create a thread dedicated to one thing: betting whether it's true and whether Half-Life 3 will ever be released. Do you think it will, or is it perpetual vaporware? My personal bet is that a new Half-Life game is in the works, but it's not called 'Half-Life 3,' nor do I think we will ever get a game called this.
