Yelena. She's about the only new character in the MCU's past six years that has remotely the same level of screen presence as their best heroes.

oh okay

I wonder if they didn't to avoid Marvel comparisons, but I agree that some kind of "state of the union" might have helped satisfy fans

I'm sure that a RoboCop reboot CAN work in 2026, but is there anything it can say better than the original already did??

The current trend now seems to be everyone trying to jump on the success of Absolute with a darker relaunch. Not going to work for everything!

Is it that I'm in the weeds with all the rumors and stuff? Is it that Endgame really did feel like the endpoint for the MCU? Have I simply gotten Too Old For This Shit? In any event, I'm underwhelmed by this.

I'll go the other way and say Daredevil. Foggy, Karen, Ben Urich, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Black Widow, Elektra, Captain America, Punisher, Maya Lopez, and that's not even counting the villains.

Wild to me that this is A. Happening, and B. on Disney+. Anyone else worried this will lose some of its teeth?

It's odd for sure, and anything for the sake of corporate synergy is always something worth an eye role

I hope they don't because i'm more interested in seeing Spidey stories that haven't been attempted. X-Men going back to the well to try and do beloved stories "the right way" was its undoing.

I bet it's a tease of some incursion, maybe that the Fox X-Men universe is crashing into the 616

First, HILARIOUS that C.B. Cebulski is moving to Japan to work on Marvel stuff in Asia, but honestly, I'm excited with the announcement of Marvel's new EIC. Stephen Wacker's history at Marvel is a bright spot, probably hte last time Marvel really felt like they were on top.

A proper adaptation of Brubaker's cap but in animation form would be amazing

It will be great to finally see him with other DC characters

Same, first movie felt like something made in a lab specifically for me, wild that it's taking so long

We've heard this song before, but Batman just got hit with another delay. What's everyone thinking?

Hahaha, glad you put the DKC soundtracks in here, those are my go-tos. I love these guys that play live, jazz renditions of gaming soundtracks:

After much teasing from Gunn, it seems like Blue Beetle is set to make his DCU debut and make the canon even more confusing.

Love Hunt for the Wilderpeople, i'll go the other way and say his work in Omen III is vastly underrated being a horror sequel

Yes but Freddy won't be the CEO

It's been sixteen years, but a new Nightmare movie is finally happening, which means its time to figure out what people actually want. I think it would be impossible for Robert Englund to return, so in my mind, that's off the table. To that end, I also hope this doesn't try to be a legacy sequel, as that is pretty played out in horror circles.

I think people are tired of The Rock, but also families are also still seeing Toy Story 5 in droves. Word of mouth and reviews are good on that one, and you know it won't be too much for younger kids, and Moana has none of those.

Little corn Swamp Thing is one of my favorites

I think this is pretty fair, but when it comes to something like Supergirl, directly adapting a story that the team has talked about how much they like, massive changes are worth talking about

You're definitely NOT the only one lol
