  1. I'll just wait for the new scenes to be released. I'm sure they're cool, but I don't think I could justify paying to watch it in theatres again, unless the kids want to go.
  2. I think it will be in front of Mandolorian and Grogu, but nothing would surprise me at this point.
  3. I forgot one! Let's add Psyloche to my original list: Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, Colossus, Storm, and Phoenix.
  4. Before the week resets, I’m curious what everyone checked out over the last few days. Could be a movie, TV show, comic, or game, anything that stood out and you’d actually recommend. Looking for a few new things to add to my list to check out.
  5. The Baxter Building does have some nice perks!
  6. Good choice! Plus you would learn some great martial arts!
  7. I actually haven't been in the shop to pick it up yet, but will read it first when I get my stack : ) I read the first issue of Lost Fantasy and it was really good! I need to catch up with that series.
  8. I didn't go too crazy this month like I did last month, but still got these: Nectar #1 2nd Print, Fireborn #1, Shredder #7, and I think a few more may trickle in. DC and Image were a little behind this week at my lcs.
  9. In my younger days, I would’ve said X-Men 100%, but now I’m not so sure I could handle the constant drama and bickering. I’m going with the Fantastic Four. The Baxter Building has the best lab equipment in the world, and even though Reed can be a bit of a space cadet, Sue keeps everything grounded. Plus, Ben Grimm seems like the best guy to grab a beer with after a long day of saving the multiverse.
  10. We spend all day debating who wins in a fight, but let’s talk about the 24/7 reality: who could you actually stand to live with? Joining a team isn’t just about the cool uniforms and powers. It’s the communal kitchen, the ego clashes, and the 3 AM emergency alarms. Sure, the X-Men have the cool school, but do you really want to be there when Scott and Logan start their weekly drama? The Avengers have the high-tech tower, but you just know Tony Stark is leaving half-finished tech projects all over the place, and Cap probably has a 5 AM workout schedule while expecting you to watch your language at all times. If you had to sign a contract and move into HQ tomorrow, which team are you joining? Are you heading to the Baxter Building for the family vibes, joining the X-Men, moving into Avengers Tower, hitting the streets with the Defenders, or going somewhere else entirely? Choose wisely… you’re stuck with these people.
  11. I once watched Arsenic and Old Lace to prepare for a theatre role as Cary Grant's character, Mortimer Brewster and I loved the movie! It made me a huge fan of how simple the old black and white movies were. They didn't need special effects to be good.
  12. I've been meaning to watch Daredevil and Punisher for a while. I haven't seen either of them. Not sure I could handle The Boys 😂
  13. I'm watching a series called Sneaky Pete. We generally watch horror, paranormal, and creepy series, but this one is a nice change from the routine. We're also watching Lord of the Rings Extended Editions, but only like 1 hour at a time because the kids can only sit still for limited amounts of time.
  14. Tough one! I'd have to go with Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, Colossus, Storm, and Phoenix.
  15. I have to go with TMNT: Raphael and X-Men 266! I've had Raphael since I was a kid and it brings back great memories. I like X-Men 266 because of Gambit.
  16. I almost bought this the other day, but remembered the movie and put it back 😂 maybe I'll reconsider now that you said this.
  17. I'm really starting to like pinball machines! I never really cared for them in the past, but recently got into them at a retro arcade and it's my favorite part now! I played the Stranger Things pinball last week and it was pretty cool!
  18. I've started to love them! Never was a big fan of pinball machines until I started going to retro arcades, but now I think they're awesome!
  19. Our Dave & Busters doesn't have much except those machines where you try to win tickets, which I kinda hate because they don't last long, but my oldest is a wizard at the claw game and won me an entire set of Ghostbusters plushies : ) Does your area have an old-school arcade? We have one about an hour away but you just pay a cover charge and play all day. However, most of their games are a little dated.
  20. I just spent the day at a retro arcade with all the old games from the 70s Atari days, 80s and 90s cabinets, pinball machines, and even rooms with home systems like NES, SNES, old Playstations, XBox, etc. It really got me thinking about how much fun those games have been over the decades. There’s a lot of nostalgia in playing them the way they were originally meant to be played. Do you still go to places like that, or would you if you had one nearby? What are some of your favorite games to play in that setting?
  21. That was a great game! My sister had that one and I played it when I came to visit from college. I never beat the underwater castle lol it's probably easy I just never put enough time into it.
  22. Wow I didn't even know it had a fishing pole lol too bad you didn't keep it. My son can't believe that I didn't keep all of my retro games, but we didn't really think about it like that back then. Wish I had kept them all.
  23. Let me look through my box and I'll be back : )
  24. For me it's A Link to the Past for SNES. So many great memories! I won it over and over just to watch the ending. I felt like I was part of the game : )
