  1. We've seen a lot of heroes get their shot on the big screen, but there are still plenty of major comic characters waiting in the wings. If you could greenlight one Marvel, DC, or even an Image solo movie tomorrow, who gets it?
  2. It's not the worst I've seen, but he looks like he slept wrong the night before.
  3. I just finished the first Lord of the Rings book and have started working my way through some Stephen King short stories. I'm also trying to make a dent in a stack of comics that seems to grow faster than I can read them. I'm also finishing up The Boroughs. I was disappointed to hear it got canceled, but I've enjoyed it enough that I want to see how it ends. Alfred Molina has been phenomenal in it, and it feels like the show had plenty of room to grow. Maybe another network or streamer will decide to give it a second chance. What about everyone else? What are you reading, watching, playing, or collecting this week?
  4. Batman is usually the first answer that comes up, and for good reason. The Joker, Two-Face, Riddler, Bane, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy... it's hard to top that lineup. But Spider-Man has Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom, Kraven, Mysterio, and plenty of others. Then you've got characters like Flash, Superman, Daredevil, and the X-Men with some incredible villains of their own. So who do you think has the best rogues gallery in comics, and what makes them stand out?
  5. I'm going with Matt Damon's Marvel cameos 😂. First as the disguised redneck in Deadpool 2, and then as actor Loki in Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder. I love that they kept bringing him back.

Agreed. I think Andrew could have gone much further as Spider-Man. He was in a really awkward spot. The Raimi trilogy was loved, and then Tom Holland's Spider-Man arrived with the advantage of being part of the MCU and interacting with all of those other characters. Andrew's Spider-Man was kind of stuck in the middle. I still think he had one of the best portrayals of Peter Parker and Spider-Man, and a third movie could have really changed how people look back on his run
  7. I didn't realize it came out today. We'll have to go see it.
  8. Those are all great scenes. I literally love every single second of the entire trilogy, even the extended editions.
  9. Yep that's a great scene! I try to watch the entire trilogy yearly.
  10. Agreed. There are so many great scenes in this trilogy.
  11. I'm in the same boat. I liked what I saw, but I wasn't completely sold by the trailer either. If they can capture some of what made the older Wolverine game so much fun, I'll be happy.
  12. I think it's going to be really good! I just hope it has replayability.
  13. I was surprised to hear that The Boroughs was canceled after just one season. I'm only a few episodes into it, but I've been enjoying it so far and was looking forward to seeing where the story went. It feels like a lot of shows don't get much time to find an audience these days. For those of you who watched it, do you think Netflix made the right call, or did The Boroughs deserve another season?
  14. The "For Frodo" scene is always one of my favorites!
  15. Hi! Welcome to the forum!
  16. Oh man I didn't know this was out yet! I'll have to go see it!
  17. When you're picking up a new comic, do you usually stick with Cover A, or do you go hunting for variants? I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to Cover A. Even if I really like a variant, I almost always want the main cover in my collection first. Then, if a variant has particularly great artwork or features one of my favorite artists, I might pick up a second copy. What about everyone else? Do you always grab Cover A, chase variants, hunt ratio incentives, or just buy whichever cover catches your eye?
  18. There are a lot of interesting books hitting shelves this week. I'm definitely keeping an eye on Absolute Batman #21, Spider-Man: Long Way Home #1, Something Is Killing the Children #48, and Odin #2 from Image. There's also a new Hellboy in Love issue, Battle Beast, Nightwing, and plenty of Spider-Man and X-Men books for Marvel fans. What are you picking up this week? Any must-read books that should be on everyone's radar?
  19. I hope they take time to properly build it up. I think they may have tried to follow the MCU a little and catch up so to speak, but I think they will do it the right way this time.
  20. Yes! So much blood lol I love how the old game had him constantly regenerating, I can't wait to see how the new one plays.
  21. Yep! I loved the game, it was one of the few movie tie ins that was actually fun to play! I think the new Wolverine game has major potential as long as it has replayability.
  22. I think it could work. It was funny back in the day, but they will have to work hard to keep everyone's attention.
  23. I'm not quite through the first season yet, but I've been enjoying it so far. I wasn't sure what my kids would think of the black-and-white style and darker setting, but they've ended up liking it a lot more than I expected. What does everyone think of the show? Has it lived up to your expectations, or do you prefer the comic and Spider-Verse versions of the character? Also, what do you think of Nicolas Cage? Personally, I think he's great at this role and I hope to see much more of it.
  24. I'm going with Toy Story 2!
  25. It would be great if they did release it, but I'm not going to hold my breath. It's been a while.
