  1. I agree! I feel that's the right way to watch it. At least the first viewing.
  2. Now that's a good question! I'm probably going to watch it in Black and White. I feel that's how it was intended to be viewed.
  3. I think Batman's no-kill rule will always make sense for his character. However, I would be pretty upset if I lived in Gotham and read on the news that the Joker got away again 😂
  4. That's a good skill to have! There's a bookstore that I go to occasionally that throws random boxes together and I sometimes find some hidden gems in there. They don't even know what they have in there and just price it all at $2.
  5. Great choices! I got Cyclops #1 (3 covers since my son loves the character), Absolute Wonder Woman Annual covers A and C, Geiger #21, Absolute Batman #15 2nd printing, Ordained #1, Radiant Black #1, TMNT #15, and Bleeding Hearts #1. It was a pretty big day! I can't wait to start reading them. I haven't read any Absolute Wonder Woman yet, but working on it.
  6. That was a really good movie! Probably time for a rewatch!
  7. I can't believe I still haven't seen that one! I've heard about it all my life, just never watched it. I'll make it a point to see it soon.
  8. I can see by the other answers that I have some catching up to do lol
  9. Is Iron Lung worth watching? I've been reading about it and it sounds interesting.
  10. I wish they would go back and make a gritty version like the first one! I still watch it occasionally and it came out when I was very young.
  11. I was really hoping they would do the Last Ronin storyline, but I guess they figured they should try to cash in on a few more movies in between before they do the "last" movie. I'm open to see what they do with the franchise, but I wasn't a huge fan of the latest entries.
  12. Wow episode 800?! I can't believe how long the Simpsons have been running! I was a little kid when it first came out. I'll have to think back to my favorite episode and get the name of it.
  13. It’s New Comic Book Day again. What was on your pull list this week? Did you grab any new releases or find any interesting back issues while you were there? This was a great week for new comics and I came home with a huge stack of comics!
  14. My favorite is the Dragon's Breath shotgun scene in John Wick: Chapter 4! I like how it's top-down like a video game.
  15. That's what I use it for too. There are so many different series that I normally wouldn't buy or that I would have to buy 50+ comics to catch up and the app makes it easier. I'm considering getting the DC app as well and test it out. There are a lot of Absolute Universe series I want to read and don't want to track down all the back issues.
  16. That's quite a journey! Digital is definitely convenient. My "local" comic shop is about an hour and a half away, but I go to that town once a week anyway so it's easy to just stop by.
  17. Yes! I just watched it again and it gives me chill bumps! I like how close they came to losing right there.
  18. It was so brutal! That movie gives you a feeling of dread. I wouldn't mind watching it again.
  19. Yep! My youngest watched the new Spider-Man movies and it didn't really interest him... then I put on Tobey Maguire and he was so into it and forced me to keep them rolling until we watched all 3 in one sitting : )
  20. That's a good amount of viewings per year! I need to up my game : )
  21. Storage can definitely be an issue with comics! I have so many boxes in different places and storage units it's insane lol. Digital definitely helps with that. I still buy quite a few comics every Wednesday because I like physical media and I like to support and hang out with my local comic shop. I'm reading through Marvel Unlimited, but considering getting DC next week as well. DC has so many great comics coming out all the time and it's getting hard to keep up with all of the series.
  22. That's fair. I still like having physical media, but I've been reading series I normally wouldn't be able to because it would be too hard to track down back issues. I have Marvel Unlimited, but thinking about getting DC soon as well to catch up on the Absolute universe without having to buy so many comics.
  23. That's awesome! I have Marvel Unlimited also and I'm on book 47 of 50 for Immortal Hulk and have loved it! I would have never picked up that series if I had to buy all 50 comics, it would have been too expensive. I also like how you can choose a character and read through multiple series if you want to focus on one at a time. Have you tried DC's digital? I'm thinking about getting it so I can catch up on the Absolute universe.
  24. I still love physical books and never thought I would like digital, but I've been using Marvel Unlimited for about a month and have read tons of books I would not have been able to find. It's also saved a ton of money on long series. I still buy physical comics weekly, but now I read about 5 digital comics per day and it's not very expensive at all. I recommend trying it, especially if you want to read older books that are hard to find. I started reading some old X-Men comics and it's pretty interesting.
