What New Games Are You Playing This January?

New releases for the first month of the year are always a bit slow. So I'm curious how people are starting their year in gaming. Are you diving into any new (or new to you) games this month?

Personally, I'm mostly digging back into Animal Crossing to get ready for the 3.0 update, but I have tried a few new games, too.

I finished my playthrough of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance last night. It was fun! Some of the platforming challenges were tough, but I really enjoyed the combat system.

The rest of my January is going to be replaying old favorites. I want to do Resident Evil 2 to get ready for Requiem.

Replaying favorites is such a great way to roll into a new year!

I've been thinking of starting up the RE remake myself, but wasn't sure if I'd start with that one or RE 2 remake.

On the video game side, I'm curious about Arknights: Endfield and I Hate This Place.

On the board game side, Apex Legends: The Board Game, Dixit Kids, and Winnie the Pooh: Serious Detective are all on my want list.

I've got my eye on Arknights: Endfield, too. Definitely going to at least check it out.

I'm also hopping back on the Animal Crossing train! I abandoned it awhile back when Sims 4 took over my interests, lol, but have been wanting to get back into it.

Sims 4 will definitely do that to you lol. I play it not at all for months, then it consumes my life for an entire week when I finally boot it back up.
