My husband & I just got approved to adopt a cat and we need name ideas! What nerdy name would you give this boy?

My first thought was "Meowbacca".

It's just something about his face.

(Keep in mind, I have a cat named Paws al Ghul for a Batman villain so....)

For no reason whatsoever, my first thought when looking at him was "That's Gandalf." I cannot explain why.

(P.S. my dog is named Azula and our cat's name is Mai. If you know you know).

Gandalf has been in consideration! And it sounds like you need a third pet to name Ty Lee

We're getting chickens in a few months, and I plan to name the most acrobatic one Ty Lee for sure.

My gut reaction was to also go for a Chewbacca inspired name. I typically think of Chewie as a dog name, but could work for a cat too.

Gotta put my vote behind this. It is adorable!

Not Star Wars or superhero nerdy but horror nerdy, we went with Winifred (nod to Hocus Pocus) and Wilhelmina (from Dracula) for our cat and dog. Nerdy names are fun for pets!

I think we are going with Mr. Darcy. My husband picked it out and now it’s like, of course that’s his name. Look at him. That’s Mr. Darcy.

Mr. Darcy fits him!
