January 21Jan 21 CB Team We all have favorites we could replay any day, but what's a great game you think is one and done for you?My pick would probably be Cyberpunk 2077. I played it after all the updates and the Phantom Liberty expansion came out and had a blast with it, but it took me a very long time to get through. If I were to do a replay, it'd eat into time to play other games, and there's so much else out there to play. I have relatively small windows of time for gaming during the day, so slowly chipping away at an RPG for a few months isn't all that appealing to me.
January 21Jan 21 CB Team Death Stranding. I'm a completionist who enjoys reaching 100% in games. I loved Death Stranding and was willing to complete every mission and grab every collectible. I was around 95% completion when I decided to do the game's finals tory mission, and just clear whatever I hadn't found yet in the post-game. The final story mission activates permanent rain for a while... Rain corrodes structures, including EVERYTHING you spend dozens of hours building. I just didn't have the strength to rebuild a bunch of stuff for a few extra missions, and the fact that the story mode gets in the way of exploration (which is the best aspect of the game), left a sour taste in my mouth.
January 21Jan 21 CB Team I've been trying to work myself up to replaying The Last of Us Part II. But... MAN... I just...
January 21Jan 21 CB Team I tried to start up Grand Theft Auto V, which I remember liking when I initially played it, and I deleted it after a few missions. The mechanics are a bit dated, but it's mostly in the conversations and characters. I laughed a few times, but ultimately it just felt like low-hanging fruit a lot of times. I'll just wait for GTA 6.
January 22Jan 22 CB Team I don't replay games very often these days, to be honest. There are just so many to juggle that my days of annual Skyrim replays may well be behind me.
January 22Jan 22 CB Team I'm going old school... Mega Man! I thought it would be fun to show the kids how "good" I was and it was a disaster. I couldn't get anywhere and the kids questioned my gaming skills 😂

Might be a hot take, but I'm not the biggest fan of how Rockstar games feel to play. I love the presentation and how lived-in the open worlds feel, but yeah I agree with the mechanics.
