After the first look at The Batman 2 revealed Gotham in the snow, I wrote about how its version of Gotham can again outdo one from The Dark Knight Rises (https://comicbook.com/movies/feature/the-batman-2-can-beat-nolans-dark-knight-trilogy-again-now-its-officially-continuing-a-34-year-trend/). I love the entire Dark Knight Trilogy, but its Gotham is one of the only points I'd criticise - it's a generic big city, which does work well enough for those movies, but doesn't have a sense of character. I really like The Batman's version, and the one from Joel Schumacher's movies, but nothing has come close to beating Tim Burton's Gotham for me, it's perfect. What do you think?

SNES - Pang X Street Fighter II Buster, the hero of Pang, has to destroy the energy spheres left behind by M. Bison in every classic stage from Street Fighter II. Along the way, he finds a cyborg wrecked in a fight with Ryu. From the remains, Buster recovers combat data from six legendary fighters: Ryu, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, Guile, Ken, and Sagat. He uploads this data into his harpoon gun, learning to fire each fighter's special energy — Hadoken, Kikoken, Yoga Fire, Sonic Boom, Shoryuken, and Tiger Shot — finally giving him the power to destroy the spheres and stop Bison's plan.

I finally replaced my copies of The Lord of the Rings and started reading them today. I’ve never actually read the books before, but I’m already hooked. I recently got the kids interested in Lord of the Rings, and we’ve been watching a little of the original movies every weekend, but I’ve always wanted to sit down and read the books myself. Has anyone here read the full series? And has anyone gone through The Silmarillion as well? What is everyone else reading right now?

I can't help the direction of these films, but I can wish for a particular story and new characters. I want MK3 to incorporate more of Neatherrealm and introduce Shinnok, Smoke, and other characters of that realm. Meanwhile, Outworld would be racing Earthrealm to resurrect the dead fighters, with Outworld, obviously. playing dirty. Want to see Cyrax and Sektor make their debut!

So we have Resident Evil and Street Fighter movies coming up, and they’ve been very clear that the new Resident Evil is trying to tell its own story in the world. So what is it that you hope for in video game adaptations? Reimaginings, as close to 1:1 adaptations as possible, side stories that fit within the games stories, or something else?

My question is why were the Hutts speaking English in the movie? At first they were speaking in their language and then went to speaking in English? Is the education that bad here in the US that kids can not read subtitles?? So sad.
