So I imagine a lot of you saw Markiplier's new film IRON LUNG. Well, I saw it second night and absolutely loved it. I went it knowing barely anything and had a really great time! I want to know from fans of the game and casual viewers alike: What did you think? Like it? Love it? Should Mark stick to let's plays? (For fans of the game?) Was it a faithful adaptation or did it deviate in ways that you did not care for? Did it scare you? I'm glad it didn't just resort to jumpscares so I know my answer? And lastly any hot takes?

It’s New Comic Book Day again! What’s on your pull list this week? Did you grab any new releases, or pick up some interesting back issues while you were there?

With this week's Nintendo Direct now outta the way, it sounds like we're getting a State of Play from PlayStation next week. What are you hoping shows up? Wolverine feels likely since Insomniac said it would share more early this year. Other than that, I'd love to just see anything new from PlayStation that isn't some rehashed IP. The new Horizon game they announced this week has soured me further on their strategy as a company this generation. I just want to see something fresh.

I was thinking about this tonight while accidentally ending up down a rabbit hole about a particular filmmaker and wondered what "iconic" filmmakers do you think are overrated and why?

The Super Bowl trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu felt so odd, like a Star Wars version of the Coke Christmas commercial but not good. Felt like such a weird marketing move. And we still know nothing about the plot lol

You can check them all out here: https://comicbook.com/movies/list/watch-every-super-bowl-2026-movie-tv-trailer/ Project Hail Mary continues to look like one of the most exciting movies of the year. Disclosure Day I'm intrigued by. Puppy Krypto melted my heart. And I've not got a fucking clue what Lucasfilm is doing with Mando 🤷♂️ What did you think of them all?

I’ve been experimenting with a sequential “password block” system in Super Mario World using custom ASM blocks. Each block increases a RAM counter only if it’s touched in the correct order, and a final door checks the value and automatically triggers the end‑level sequence. What’s interesting is that this system isn’t just useful for puzzles or passwords. It can actually serve as the foundation for a full point‑and‑click adventure engine on the SNES. Why this works like a point‑and‑click system Each block can represent an “object” or “action” The RAM counter becomes the game state (inventory, progress flags, dialogue states) Conditional checks (CMP) allow for sequences…

The long-rumored Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase finally dropped this morning, and it was a pretty long one! What did you think of it? Here's the link, in case you haven't had a chance to tune in yet. I wasn't ready to see Todd Howard, but I wasn't surprised to see a release date for FF7 Rebirth on Switch 2. A lot of anime games this time around, too.

With the announcement of a poison ivy show I have a question for the class. Which DC show do you think is better the penguin or lantern? Now we’re not talking special effects or money that was spent on the shows or the quality of acting because both shows had great acting I’m talking about the story. Which show did you like for the story? I preferred the penguin lanterns didn’t do it for me. I watched it all the way through, but it wasn’t as good as the penguin was to me I still remember the p

Did you see it? Did you like it? Did you mind the lack of bigger DCU Connections? Did you like Tom Rhys Harries? Should this film officially be part of DCU continuity? Or is it a one-off?

With Halloween just around the corner, I was curious if anyone here is planning to dress up this year. I'm putting together a Casey Jones costume from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, while my son is going as Leonardo. I've been working on getting the different pieces together, including the mask, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all turns out. Anyone else dressing up this year? Going with a comic book character, movie character, or something completely different? Feel free to share what yo
