There was definitely a narrative reason why this week's episode of the series marked the first time that Bill Skarsgard appeared as Pennywise, but I can't help but feel like his absence had more to do with not completing his deal to appear in the series until a certain amount of time into production, could just be the cynical part of me there. Anyone else feel like they waited too long to bring him in or was that the right amount of time?

Saw a similar post today that made me think, what was the worst in-show explanation for a character exit (after the actor left the series)? Anything is probably better than Shameless straight up not even mentioning Fiona in the finale. Alex Karev in Grey’s Anatomy might be one of the worst. It’s not THE worst but the fact the character just exists in faceless letters is so weird - especially for a 15 season run of that character. Alex Kamal in The Expanse is probably one of the best.

Black Friday deals are finally kicking off this week and there are a lot of major video games that have been heavily discounted. What's on your radar this year? Personally, I'm getting one of my kids a Switch for Christmas and I'm grabbing a few games for it while these sales are ongoing. This will be their first video game console and I can't wait to see how they react to it.

Widow's Bay is hands down my favorite new show this year, it's hilarious and tense and manages to find the perfect balance between the two, but after that Season 1 finale...what's next?! I do love that each episode kind of tackled a different horror trope in a way, and given the distinct comparisons to The Cabin in the Woods, I hope there's an episode about a haunted cabin in Season 2

I was surprised to hear that The Boroughs was canceled after just one season. I'm only a few episodes into it, but I've been enjoying it so far and was looking forward to seeing where the story went. It feels like a lot of shows don't get much time to find an audience these days. For those of you who watched it, do you think Netflix made the right call, or did The Boroughs deserve another season?
