  1. Mortal Kombat 3 has the best and most creative set of core characters in the franchise, the best stages, and the best set of fatalities / combo sets. FIGHT!

  2. Whether you’re brand new to comics or just getting back into them, this is the place to share and discover great reads. Drop your favorite series, story arcs, or graphic novels that you think everyone should try at least once. Old or new, Marvel or DC, indie or webcomic, it all counts. If you can, tell us why you recommend it and what makes it special.

  3. *** WARNING! SPOILERS BELOW! *** *** WARNING! SPOILERS BELOW! *** Well, if you are still around, you have probably seen the episode, or just don't care about spoilers. What did you think of the series' premiere? I'm curious to see how everyone felt about it. On my part, as I said in my review, it feels more like the second movie than the first, and IMO that's not a good thing.

  4. Feels like there's been so many spinoffs in this series that I totally forgot the "final" Conjuring is right around the corner. Is there really any interest in this franchise anymore? Consensus seems like the first two Conjuring movies are good, the rest of the movies are "not bad" to "bad."

Let’s see what everyone picked up this week. New issues, back issues, omnibuses, trades, anything goes. Here’s mine from this week: I used some recommendations from everyone in this forum to build up my library and finally grabbed Watchmen, Locke & Key, and the rest of the Preacher series. I’m still collecting recommendations and picking up more books as I go.

Is anyone ever going to adopt this book into a film.. The characters can easily match all the current super heroes and villans Epic book? Would be great to see a film Come on Jackson..if you could do Lord of the Rings try this Lord too

  7. With all of Lego's licensing products, there are still so many that I'd love to see. Now that we're getting The Goonies, what's a dream set you wished they'd make: https://comicbook.com/gear/product-news/goonies-lego-ideas-sets-never-say-die-the-adventure-begins-on-november-1st/ Now that they're doing a steady stream of Transformers, I'd LOVE to see a 2,000+ piece ThunderCats Thundertank or similar scale recreation of MotU's Castle Grayskull playset.

  8. I was looking at this article that I wrote (10 Scariest Non-Marvel & DC Horror Comics), and was curious what everyone else thought. What is your favorite horror comic that isn't from Marvel or DC? I absolutely love American Vampire, and I know it's part of a DC imprint, but I don't consider it part of the DC line. I think it is just a brilliant take on vampires, and Skinner Sweet might be one of my favorite vamps. However, as a massive Stephen King fan, I have also become a monster fan of his son, Joe Hill, and I absolutely love his Locke & Key comics. My wife got me the box set for Christmas a few years ago, and it might be one of my favorites. So, what is you…

  9. Hey everyone! I recently started reading Spider-Man ’94 and I’m absolutely loving it! The comic perfectly captures that classic 90s cartoon energy, the same one many of us grew up watching on TV. The art style feels like a tribute to the animated series, but with modern storytelling that still keeps that nostalgic charm alive. What I really enjoy is how it brings back that balance between Peter’s personal struggles and the crazy rogues’ gallery it’s pure Saturday morning Spider-Man vibes! So, for those who’ve been reading it too — What’s been your favorite issue or moment so far? Do you think Spider-Man ’94 does justice to the animated series? Which 90s villain do you w…

After only a few issues Marvel killed Thunderbird. Maybe he was created with powers duplicated by other heroes so he could be killed early on but…what could have been done. Just those few issues of the Native American rebelling against Xavier, and by proxy Cyclops, white men who took his freedom and tried to make him do their bidding were intense. Him/Wolverine/Cyclops battling for alpha male status would have been riveting. It’s time to bring him back into the fold and revisit this dynamic.

I don't remember “Run Lola Run” in spite of it being a successful movie on a low budget with a twist. Maybe you, like me, have never seen this movie or forgotten it? Well, don't feel bad because not everyone draws a blank if it's mentioned. Specifically, the streaming services, who have it safely ensconced behind paywalls along with many more easily recognizable older movies that have been readily available outside prime time but have little commercial value until now. Some greedy genius discovered that beside ever-increasing, unconscionable, subscription fees they could double-dip by putting a paywall stacked behind the charge for admission and further line their pockets…
