Interested to see the takes on this. It is made up of a fair amount of strong parts and acting. Good close of the trilogy. But the bizarre (huge) timeline jumps threw me off so much. But maybe didn't with others? Will say... that opening scene was pure 🔥 --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkNV9yUspls

There's plenty of retcons that are stupid, terrible, or great, but I feel like we don't talk enough about the ones that are outright funny. My personal winner is the Barry Allen's first appearance calling all the Golden Age heroes comic books characters, which not only had the confusing question of if there were Batman and Superman comics about the REAL Batman and Superman, but was darn near IMMEDIATELY undone in "The Flash of Two Worlds." It's so unintentionally funny to me.

With its weekly release, the One Piece anime has sort of built a legacy that fans continue to follow. However, you can't deny the fact that even in its best episodes, pacing issues often dampen the excitement of watching. With the recent six-month hiatus, I think it was the perfect opportunity for the anime to adopt a seasonal format. Sigh! Well, at least, there’s “The One Piece” upcoming anime supposedly meant to fix the pacing, which ironically is taking forever to come out.

KPop Demon Hunters is a joy, and has way more full-quadrant appeal than the marketing (or weird lack of it) suggested from Netflix. It’s like Squid Game all over again, where they have so much to market that they can’t back things as they deserve. And the best song is Soda Pop. Obviously. Fight me

Paramount is reportedly pulling the plug on Dexter: Original Sin in favor of focusing on Dexter: Resurrection, despite then seemingly planning to alternate between both shows initially. https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/dexter-original-sin-cancelled-resurrection-season-2/ It seemed like there were still plenty of threads to pull on with Brian Moser’s past, seeing Dexter develop himself into the killer we know him as now, more. Should the series have been given the opportunity to continue after all its success or does a prequel series not matter now that Michael C. Hall is back in Resurrection?

LOST is still better than most modern TV shows and, in the years since it ended, it has become an easy target for revisionist history. Fans know that behind-the-scenes things got messy (and that Lindelof and Cuse didn't have as much mapped out as fans would have liked) but it's still a great series - and a no-brainer to bring back.

So the second story arc in Chip Zdarsky and Valerio Schiti's Captain America introduces four new Captains serving under the United Nations: Captain France, Captain Kingdom, Red Widow, and The Star. What do we think about them, and which has the most potential? Zdarsky also spoke to ComicBook about their introduction, which you can read here: https://comicbook.com/comics/news/chip-zdarsky-captain-america-united-nations-captains-interview/

How's everyone feeling after this first week? I know a lot of folks thought Alien: Romulus stuck too closely to the Alien formula, so I'm excited with the directions the show is already going. Given the new forms of alien it's already introduced, I feel like this is just the tip of the iceberg of how wild it's going to get.
