Prices keep going up, content keeps going away (to other streamers), and they release, what, maybe two things worth watching a month? Is the benefit of having access to something you liked from three years ago even worth paying their prices?

. . . . . . . That ending kind of disturbed me. I don’t know if “fridging” is the appropriate term to use here, but iif it isn’t then we should probably coin a new kind of term. It just felt gratuitous and gross even for the boys. Otherwise, I liked the multiple POV format of the episode; but do we really have real estate to be doing standalone stylistic episodes at this point because I feel like we’ve done two of them

This week sees the release of Saros, which naturally has me thinking about my time with Returnal, which is definitely the most challenging game I've played so far. My preference is to play games on easier difficulty settings because I play games for fun and I want to get the most out of my gaming time. I almost didn't get Returnal when I saw it didn't have difficulty settings, but I went through with it because I thought it looked really cool. My first playthrough was absolutely brutal lol. The digital versus physical preference when it comes to video games is a constant debate, but I'm curious what everyone here leans towards. I went with digital a while back and have pretty much never looked back. It's just far more convenient for me on every level to have my games digital, and when I had a PS5 with a disc drive, I used it for like 2 games and nothing else, so when I got a new PS5, I went with the digital edition. I love the idea of having physical games, but in reality, it's just easier for me not to. This has been a point of contention for years, and is again thanks to Maul - Shadow Lord revealing another two survivors. Are there too many? If you just go off the numbers, not at all imo. There were 10,000 Jedi, and we know of ~50 survivors in canon, so approximately 0.5%. Even if there are a couple of hundred alive, it still makes sense, given how many there were and how spread out they were through the galaxy. So there aren't too many in that regard. The "problem" is that it keeps on using it as a narrative/character device in so many releases, which has dulled its impact and made it feel like a bigger deal than it actually is.
