Personally, I thought the new trailer was really impressive. Hope this film does well - I don't feel the marketing has really landed so far, so it really needs a solid push.

I covered this on the site today and commenters seem really mixed on when the trailer will be publicly available. https://comicbook.com/movies/news/fans-are-convinced-the-doomsday-trailer-will-release-online-soon-thanks-to-official-marvel-account-tease/ Will it release this week? Ahead of Mandalorian and Grogu? SDCC 2026? A random time in the next 1-2 months? In front of Mando and Grogu would make sense - especially with that movie looking like it’s tracking soft at the box office. But… with the amount of AI recreations of the trailer out there, it might force their hands and we’ll see it sooner.

Alex Garland+epic fantasy is very tantalizing to me, but I've not played the games (though I don't think this is an "adaptation" as such), so for those who have, I'm looking for a gauge of excitement and how well this stuff could translate to the big screen?

Hey everyone, just saw the news—the Neo Geo AES+ is officially coming this November! SNK and Plaion are going the "no emulation" route using ASIC (basically modern hardware clones that act exactly like the original chips) to keep it "arcade perfect." It even has a cartridge slot and physical memory cards. This is the "Plus" era of retro gaming, folks. Forget those cheap software emulator minis; we’re talking hardware-level accuracy with HDMI out.
