May 18May 18 CB Team There are rumors Hayden Christensen has more roles in Star Wars going forward ( https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/new-star-wars-report-confirms-anakin-skywalkers-return-1-year-after-hayden-christensens-update/ ), meaning we're about to see more Anakin or Vader. How do you want that to be handled?
May 18May 18 CB Team It really depends on what the project is and how it's done so this is certainly open to change, but making a snap judgment, my answer to "what role?" is... none. It's lovely for him that he was able to come back and find a sense of redemption, but I just don't think we particularly need to see more of that iteration of Anakin/Vader - both Obi-Wan and Ahsoka, in different timelines, felt like they offered enough closure on that front for me. I prefer Vader to be used sparingly, ideally like in Rogue One, Rebels, and Shadow Lord where he just comes in as a Force of nature boss-level threat, and there's nothing more I need from Anakin's story at this point

It reminded me of Gilroy's "Vader doesn't have much to say." If he's not a character, just included for Rule of Cool, then... yeah, I'd agree with you lol.

May 18May 18 If they are really going with the world between worlds concept in the future trilogies to highlight the original trilogy characters, Hayden's role as Vader, or even Anakin, has a lot of potential

May 19May 19 CB Team I think the character needs to be used sparingly. His life pre-Vader is pretty well tread territory, and bringing him out AS Vader too much removes some of that mystique. He belongs in a Break Glass In Case of Emergency case
May 19May 19 CB Team I agree. Use him sparingly. Vader should only be used in special situations like Shadow Lord. At this point, Anakin only really makes sense in Ahsoka.I'd love for Star Wars to eventually move past this relatively short time period of the in-universe history and do stuff with some new characters. Maybe Starfighter will be a step in the right direction there?
May 23May 23 Sparingly is 100% my feeling as well. It was cool seeing him in Ahsoka and Maul, but as great as the character is (shut up Filoni!) there are infinite possibilities for story-telling in the Star Wars universe that don't involve any of the Skywalker-related characters.

May 24May 24 It really seems like there’s a lot of worry about Vader fatigue, which I totally get. My wild never gonna happen dream project for Star Wars right now though is an animated adaptation of Vader Down.
