  1. LOL Promised Neverland does take the crown for having such an awful second season! Can't help but agree. Would also like to toss out absolutely nasty "shows" like Redo of Healer. Ugh what a garbage fire that I'm still surprised made it to air
  2. I'm someone who liked the Afterlife movies, so I'd like animated Ghostbusters in that vein. Less classic core group, more just wacky GB adventurers with a new cast
  3. Naruto and Bleach are great picks! Bleach needs a full reboot from the very beginning to match up with what TYBW is doing
  4. I'm not fully aware of Daredevil villains to request any here, but my general hope is to move away from Fisk as the center of the focus. Especially after five seasons of the Kingpin
  5. I feel like they've tried this before, but might have just imagined it existing? Either way, sure why not! I'm down for at least a season.
  6. lol I'm good on it sorry 😭
  7. Omg this is awesome! I've never actually gone as far as doing this myself but have always been curious! Do you have any tips on placing them in certain spots? Or is it more just based on vibes?
  8. a theme that sounds great in every language hahaha
  9. Lol I chalked that up to the usual audio mixing issues that seem to pop up on streaming shows now, but it's definitely notable here. Coupled with that weird CG shot of frank falling onto the AC thing and the technical quirks are piling up haha
  10. With all the Shonen Jump anime reboots we've gotten lately, it's made me think about 2000s shows that I want to see come back with something new! What's a reboot you want to see from this decade?
  11. King of the Hill is coming back with Season 15 this July! How are you liking the King of the Hill Hulu revival so far? I'm loving it, but there are some missing characters like Luanne that I want to see back.
  12. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 is up there, but also agree on Watchmen! My Hero Academia Season 4, Justice League Unlimited Season 3, Invincible Season 3 are also up there for me
  13. One Piece is THE example for this! But depending on what length you're looking for here are a couple of other recommendations: Classic action: Yu Yu Hakusho (112 episodes) Classic Romance: My Love STORY!! (24 episodes) Newer Comedy: Konosuba (31 episodes) Newer Isekai: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (77 so far and two movies)
  14. Valdezology replied to saperry's topic in TV
Yeah the shorter season is definitely just a result of the streaming era, which kills sitcoms. Let's see if Scrubs can survive if it continues to focus on its episodic stuff or becomes more focused on serialization thanks to having fewer episodes overall
  15. I'm ready for this! MAWS is awesome, and I want an entire anime influenced DC animated world in this universe. There's no better time to do it than now, really
  16. It really has been good and bad. It's bad in that like Ben mentioned there really isn't a flexibility that allows Marvel properties to really show off why fans love certain comic ideas, but good in the fact that we've gotten so much out of the deal over the decades. We're in a world where, bad or not, we got like 30 different TV shows and movies over the course of a few years. The deal has brought Marvel to the spotlight in a way previously unthought of before. It might be mid now, and in a decline, but those high heights shouldn't be undersold in the slightest.
  17. I just wrapped up that Man of Fire show on Netflix! Not bad, but nowhere near as good as the 10/10 movie
  18. Maui hahah, he not only seems like a fun island hang but he could also help me out with ocean stuff presumably.
  19. Ooooo great pick! In terms of classics, it's Yu Yu Hakusho's "Smile Bomb." In terms of the new era? Honestly, it's Kill Blue's "ATTITUDE"
  20. I sort of forgot all about Moon Knight, so it would be cool to be reminded he exists with a pop-in somewhere else haha
  21. I agree with Matt here (for once). Three seasons is the best possible amount especially because shows are generally much shorter now. Three seasons is basically one season back in the old days by comparison.
  22. With Black Clover and Chainsaw Man ending in such quick succession, it made me think back on all the endings we've seen from the last of the 2010 generation. Which has been your favorite so far? To me, it's been Haikyu since it gives every single character you would care about a satisfying ending and that really hasn't been topped. But the competition is fierce! https://comicbook.com/anime/list/7-2010s-shonen-jump-endings-ranked-by-how-well-they-hold-up/
  23. LOL oh age has definitely been a factor for me now that you mention it!
  24. Studio Bones really seems to be milking My Hero Academia as it has announced yet another new anime coming after the grand finale episode released this week. This is cool and all, but I'd rather see it come back with a new movie instead! If this isn't the end, what kind of other anime would you want to see from My Hero Academia? https://comicbook.com/anime/news/my-hero-academia-anime-confirmed-to-continue-after-finale/
  25. There have been a lot of fun shows this Spring so far, but I think I'm enjoying Marriagetoxin the most out of the new shows. What about y'all?
