Seconded, this seems like a cool idea so I want it to happen

It used to be possible (look at Battlestar Galactica), but since TV's changed so much that it seems impossible to please all avenues now.

Lol I feel like the movie proves that the mandalorian as a brand has been so tanked that they really just have to go back to the drawing board. It was honestly over as soon as they gave baby yoda a real name, you know? Should've just pretended it was yoda coming back to life or something instead of tanking all of that good will with "grogu."

I do like how they're getting so anxious to reveal whatever these aliens look like in the latest promos to try and get people into theaters. I don't want to see them until I'm sitting in that seat!

it's been pretty mid tbh hahaha

The "where do you think we are?" line in that one scrubs episode lol

We'll see if it tops the OG Jessie scene.

We've got a lot of new Isekai anime adaptations coming our way through the Summer and Fall, so what do you want to see? I'm down for the Magic Knight Rayearth reboot!

There are a bunch of Disney animated TV shows that are over 20 years old at this point, and they're not streaming, not on DVD, nowhere! Need to watch some Dave the Barbarian yesterday tbh.

We got Black Clover, Bleach: TYBW, and some other big ones still hitting through the Summer and Fall months, so what are you most excited to see? Mine is Black Clover

Yeah it needs some green! Especially cause we're about to get neon green John Stewart in Man of Tomorrow lol. Gotta give us some of that action even if the tone is more grounded.

Justice League Unlimited! That final Doomsday fight, Superman's world made of cardboard speech, Luthor with the anti-life equation, the final shot of all the heroes running towards the screen. Still don't think I've seen a more satisfying ending for a comic book show ever, really

This is so awesome! The in-depth look is very much appreciated!

Also agree with sparingly!

Norman Osborn! We saw that in action a bit with Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and I'd imagine going all in on it would lead down a fun path.

Big Barda gotta be up there. Giganta for size alone.

I do think it needs more episodes to better flesh out its new cast of characters. They're kind of in that "Scrubs: Med School" window right now, and it's just tough considering that JD and the older faces need to share that same screen time. It just needs more episodes, but that also might reveal more of its overall cracks in the foundation too. We'll have to see if there's enough fruit on the vine.

lol either vought rising or boys mexico is bound to lead to it at some point

Yeah let's go! Curious to see what such a dramatically different tone for the Gunnverse looks like in motion.

I think the finale was pretty great, but it had a noticeable energy shift that was just not there with the final season. Everything was so slow to get anywhere, and the stakes didn't get as big as you would have hoped with Homelander believing he was a god. I wish the episodes were structured to feel like the big developments didn't just happen in the premiere and finale. Also, way too much soldier boy for him not to be involved in the finale at all. What a weird move that's obviously plugging the spinoffs

I'm good on all boys content in the future. That final season had a lot of issues getting to that finale, and that pretty much spent the last of the goodwill I had for this franchise on a whole

As we're reaching the tail end of the Spring 2026 anime schedule, what's been your standout show? One that I didn't expect to like as much as I have has been Marriagetoxin. It's got a lot of cool stuff going on that looks good while doing it.

It's been a week since I've seen it, but I'm still thinking about Obsession lol. What a movie! Best movie of the year so far, tbh

Video games have gotten some good anime adaptations over the years, but what's your favorite? Mine is Cyberpunk: Edgerunners for just how conclusive that story is. Can't wait for Season 2.

Would love to see a new season of Deadman Wonderland or Yona of the Dawn someday, what about you?
