Fair point! I think there's no sensible way to do this without ACTUAL characters lol

I'm 100% digital now, simply for the practicalities of storage and picking up comics I'd otherwise have missed. That said, I will still order a physical copy of a book that I've absolutely loved to show support for the creators.

I've got to say, the more I learn, the more this looks right up my street. Bring it on!

OK, after that TV spot at Super Bowl, what on earth is Lucasfilm playing at with The Mandalorian and Grogu?!?

Oh good taste!

I'll always love the freeing of Theoden. Stunning moment!

Unsurprisingly for me, it's Star Wars as well lol. Beyond that, Avatar, which my wife adores and so we rewatch a couple of times each year lol.

VERY fair point about the difference between best and favorite! "The Body" is absolutely phenomenal, but not exactly light viewing :P And that line still gives me chills!

Let's face it, Buffy's always going to be a classic show. But what do you think was the pick of the crop? My personal favorite will always be "Once More With Feeling," just because of that wonderfully subversive approach to the musical episode.

It's kind of already been done in the series, though?

Same here tbh!

This interview from Olivia Holt seems to be everywhere after Wonder Man. Sounds like she'd be up for returning; do you think Cloak and Dagger should be brought back? https://www.tiktok.com/@deciderdotcom/video/7577853093220535565?q=olivia%20holt&t=1770208583142

I think the first two seasons were top tier, personally, but season 3... ugh. One of the greatest disappointments in SW imo.

Probably Wuthering Heights, I think :)

Well said. They desperately, desperately need to give us a reason to turn up beyond "You've watched them on TV, now watch them at the cinema." At the moment, there's no solid pitch for the film; you don't get a sense of why they've even made the movie this time beyond "make money at the box office."

Yeah, personally? I am SOLD! This looks like great fun. https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/stranger-things-drops-trailer-for-first-spinoff-after-netflix-finale/

Yeah, I think Xavier is THE one for me. Tbh the X-Men have so many whose powers and abilities would make them terrifying as villains. Kitty Pryde - a ninja who can turn intangible, imagine her as an actual assassin. Cyclops - an ultimate strategist, able to outsmart some of Marvel's best minds.

Yeah, the backlash was insane. I refuse to believe anybody actually cared about Ki-Adi-Mundi's birthday, which was only specified in a 1999 CD-ROM that George Lucas himself ignored when he gave Mace Windu a purple lightsaber. (No, I'm not exaggerating.)

Oh, definitely The OA. I loved that show. Also Lockwood & Co, Shadow & Bone... sigh

Oh, this is SO cool! My favorite will always be Leonardo. I think it's probably more to do with the swords lol.

Interestingly, the High Republic featured a cult who believed this was the case; they therefore tried to destroy all Force users! Unsurprisingly, the Jedi POV did not lead to an agreement :P

I think Marvel will literally ignore the Defenders version, leave it to us continuity nerds to figure it out :P

Yeah, pretty similar. I'm glad Marvel made it - it's refreshingly different. I'm curious, where would you put Moon Knight in your view?

Tbh? I kind of think Lucas himself went back and forth on it, which is kind of why there's the confusion!

Personally, I really enjoyed it. It's definitely not your standard MCU fare, though!
