Tom Bacon

The Spidey-Hulk dynamic has always been tremendous fun, SO looking forward to this. I remember one comic where he got the Hulk to relax and turn back into Banner... with a knock knock joke.

As an old school X-Men fan? Yup, X-Men lol

Good point about the distance. I admit, I absolutely adore the character of Spider-Gwen, so I'd love to see her in the end. That said? I'd rather we had her in her own actual universe, so we could riff on the real one. Daredevil AS the Kingpin, for example, like in the original comic book run

Yeah, I love Endgame, but it IS very disjointed.

That is my core problem with Ragnarok. I remember back when I wrote at SR, some others being quite shocked when I admitted I couldn't stand Ragnarok hahahah

Been musing on it today, and I wondered: what are your thoughts? He certainly follows a lot of the patterns...

Only partway through so far, but I am LOVING IT!

Star Wars is BACK - but how would you rank Mando and Grogu compared to the other films?

I think so, yes; I think it would feel like a waste not to continue that era. But not sure whether Paramount agree...

That would be mine, too!

DEFINITELY up for it!

Let's just say my childhood is back, and leave it at that :P

Thanks for the heads-up on the typo, now fixed :)

One Doom To Rule Them All

I know the show's been controversial, but I've gotta say... the new trailer is TOTALLY selling me! https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/new-dcu-lanterns-trailer-reveals-more-green-lantern-powers-confirms-a-controversial-theory/

I have to say, I was a little concerned by Filoni's recent comments he doesn't see Vader as a "character." It reminded me of Gilroy's "Vader doesn't have much to say." If he's not a character, just included for Rule of Cool, then... yeah, I'd agree with you lol.

Same here hahahah. Magik is another who's surprised me; her original death in #303 was so emotional (actually happened just when, as a kid, I'd experienced death in my own family for the first time, so the story landed with SUCH a punch). And yet, I love what Magik has become.

Oh, it's always gonna be Gandalf for me lol. He's just so cool hahahah

The comments I'm hearing suggest this is aimed straight at kids, and that kids love it (one friend's 10-year-old saw it and apparently cried!). So... if it's aimed at that audience and lands, then I'm very happy indeed. I'd prefer something more impactful, but I get it; we're in a bad place if everything at Star Wars is aimed at me, and not wider groups :P

I'm definitely up for it! WandaVision and Agatha were great, so this will hopefully be just as good.

Tbh I'd have done Elektra and the Hand, given the Hand is returning in Brand New Day. Weave them into it...

But yeah, like some commenters, I am wondering what this means for the future. It just feels like the Mandoverse has generally stalled; I'd thought Mando and Grogu would kick it into gear again, but now Ahsoka's moved too. It's weird.

Then they will REALLY need to get some momentum again :P

There are rumors Hayden Christensen has more roles in Star Wars going forward ( https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/new-star-wars-report-confirms-anakin-skywalkers-return-1-year-after-hayden-christensens-update/ ), meaning we're about to see more Anakin or Vader. How do you want that to be handled?

So Ahsoka Season 2 has officially been delayed. Staggering; it was supposed to be ready! I hope Lucasfilm has something good to replace it this year. https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/ahsoka-season-2-officially-delayed-to-2027-ending-a-7-year-streak-for-star-wars/
