I do think it needs a more distinctive score, on reflection; not a rinse-and-repeat, but something just as catchy. Which will be a challenge :P

So, I think this is absolutely best as a standalone. It genuinely couldn't be improved imo.

I was skeptical. But that first look has, surprisingly, won me over. It looks gorgeous. https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/first-harry-potter-tv-show-trailer-reveals-hbos-remake-it-looks-magical/

That was FUN. To my surprise, I'm most curious about Heather's story; so think she's turning into the next villain, a new Muse...

I think Hulu and Zhao had different visions. Zhao (and Gellar) wanted to make Buffy: The Next Generation, whereas Hulu wanted Buffy Season 8. Conflicted ideas, which meant it was never gonna work.

Lord of the Rings for me. I was actually only newly into movies at the time, so I didn't appreciate them as fully. It didn't help that I was dragged along to see the last one before I'd seen the first two. Goes down as my biggest film regret lol.

I absolutely LOVED it, it was phenomenally well done. Genuinely don't think it could've been improved at all!

Project: Hail Mary was FANTASTIC. Loved it.

Yeah, this one REALLY has not worked for me lol

https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/darth-mauls-rule-breaking-star-wars-tv-show-returns-with-an-intense-new-trailer/ I absolutely LOVE IT. This show looks fantastic!

I'm gutted. Huge fan of Ryan Kiera Armstrong after Skeleton Crew, too. She deserved better than this.

Three words: Bring. It. Back. LOL. I'd go live-action, personally.

I'll always have a soft spot for The Incredibles. Still the best Fantastic Four movie ever made.

I remember an issue of Legionnaires where they did tryouts, and got some applicants with useless powers. My favorite was one who had the power to self-detonate... and when asked for a demonstration, replied that he could only do it once.

It was fun. I'm not always a Ritchie fan myself, but I love Sherlock Holmes, which is why I decided to give it a try. A fairly creative spin on the franchise with some fun twists (although the biggest was one I saw coming by episode 2, and it was saved for the cliffhanger ending of episode 7 lol).

What did you think of Guy Ritchie's Young Sherlock? Personally, I was initially wrong-footed by it but found myself really enjoying it in the end.

Lost track of that Civil War spreadsheet I'm afraid lol. Must've been with an old account hahahah. Might do it again as a project sometime :P

For the first time in over a decade, no new Trek shows or films have been greenlit or are in production. What do you think should happen next for Trek?

Same here. I've been really tempted to get into the book but... I want to actually be surprised with the film. THEN I'll read the book :P

It's so hard to get the balance right, though; I mean, The Mandalorian and Grogu has kind of gone to the other extreme lol.

Hunh, I hadn't thought of that. One silver lining after all! I admit I'm a little annoyed, though, I was looking forward to Netflix making KPop Demon Hunters comics with DC :P

I can be a bit of a geek sometimes :p

Oh, LOTS. There's even some that aren't officially labeled as Civil War, too, hahahah. New X-Men, for example, has some issues that coincide with the era (and still work). I'll try and find my old spreadsheet hahahah

VERY fair!

OK, this season already feels very different to the first one; looks like the monsters are out of the shadows! What did you think?
