  1. My favorite of the tie-ins, oddly enough, comes after Civil War when Nova arrives on Earth and... basically calls out how utterly insular and self-absorbed the whole fight was lol.
  2. I think there are really three standouts in superhero comics: Spider-Man, Superman, and Batman. For me, Superman's and Batman's are actually the more well-structured, because the origins shape them so much. Realistically, that spider could've bitten Jessica Jones as easily as it bit Peter Parker :P
  3. It's not my normal taste, but it really surprised me how much I enjoyed it just because it's SO well written :)
  4. Tom Bacon replied to Virginia's topic in Comics
Aaaaaw that sounds AMAZING! One of the people I used to work with, Molly Brizzell, now works at Disneyland. I dread to imagine how much merch she's getting hahahah
  5. Tbh... I actually feel like the industry as a whole is starting to move away from shared universes. So I'd settle for standalones, different versions of Spider-Man, and only do crossovers if it feels organic.
  6. Heh, this feels almost like a conversation we were having at the very time this was posted :P And yeah, on reflection, I think they'll stick. I was initially concerned about Doomsday losing the IMAX screens, but I'm less bothered about that now I've looked into it a bit.
  7. Yeah, I was disappointed the last Tomb Raider relaunch didn't go well. Hope this one does!
  8. I assume you've watched the Legion show btw? FANTASTIC series.
  9. Possibly a controversial answer, but Civil War. Mainly because it's actually possible to chart where every single tie-in fits into the timeline of the event, and there's only something like three continuity problems if you do so! ...And yeah, I admit, I tested this theory :P
  10. I really, really want the MCU's Mutant Saga to move on from Wolverine. But which X-Men are you most excited to see in the MCU?
  11. Yeah, Marco's absolutely right; Wonder Man is FANTASTIC.
  12. I've been wondering that for a while; they pivoted from Season 4 to this film at such speed.
  13. OK, THAT was what we needed. I am now hyped!
  14. Always gonna be Spidey for me. HATE what Marvel did there.
  15. Yeah, I'm going for B&W too I think. Just feels "right."
  16. Same! Tbh they could easily do other stories based on the previous Hunters...
  17. Yeah, that was something I found fascinating too; is it possible some of the demons can be redeemed? And IS Jinu gone?
  18. I'm really excited about this one. Absolutely loved the first film, so while I know it'll take time, I am really looking forward to the sequel. What elements do you think should be worked on?
  19. I'm absolutely fascinated by what the MCU's been doing with Damage Control. Really feel this group has been set up as major villains for the Mutant Saga, policing the mutant population. Do you think that's the route Marvel will take or are you expecting things to go in a different direction?
  20. Yeah, I sadly don't have a nearest comic shop - the closest one is a 15 minute taxi and 20 minute train ride away!
  21. I prefer it, purely because it ensures there are no shades-of-grey here, but I also get the argument that a lot of people in Gotham die because Batman won't kill.
  22. I actually think that the cost of Super Bowl means things may change a little; that we may get blockbusters that don't NEED Super Bowl, and then a second tier that feel they do need to cash out.
