I loved that part of the finale. Oddly, though, the more I've reflected on it, the less satisfied I've been with the overall season.

I would LOVE to see this one become full canon! Although I admit I've always liked the idea of Kitty and Illyana lol

Interesting choice! I do love Scott and Emma. I'd go with Reed and Sue. The first, the foundation of the entire Marvel Universe imo. Also: Spidey and MJ.

As a kid: Picking up Heir to the Empire in Geoff's second-hand book shop a week after it'd come out. I was already a regular there, I'd just watched ANH for the first time at Christmas, and I couldn't believe there was a new book! As an adult: Celebration 2023, seeing the live-action Thrawn on the big screen for the first time and then Daisy Ridley on-stage :)

Season 2, personally. I do find it incredible that it hasn't yet happened!

I'd suggest waiting until after midnight in your respective time zones before reading this... But let's just say it was everything I wanted. LOVED THAT ENDING.

I think the characters almost all have the potential to be engaging (possibly not Kentaro and Isabel). And I like the concept, of people struggling to make sense of living in the Monsterverse. But... it doesn't quite come together cohesively. For me, the moment that really jarred me was when Cate goes to Kentaro, the copter actually WAITS for her when they had no idea how long she'd be and they needed to get to Titan X before she left Skull Island. It made me wince, because it clearly telegraphed "Oh, we want a confrontation between Cate and Kentaro but we ALSO want Cate to be part of getting Titan X home" lol. Very clumsy writing there.

It was a strange episode, wasn't it? There were bits that felt like they were... just for plot convenience. Really annoyed me there tbh lol. Definitely interested to see where this is going...

Jessica is my favorite Green Lantern. I am SO looking forward to this!

Stargate does it for me lol. I find that I alternate between Disney+ and Netflix really.

I'm really enjoying it :) I AM ready for a post-Kingpin story tbh; that dynamic feels like it's in danger of being played out.

Very much my view, I have to say. For me, the only arguments in favor of a reboot would be that recent showrunners seem to have... kind of lost that skill. But it's more a "them" issue than anything else!

I thought it was... OK. A little too much Eleven ex Machina for my liking, and I got very tired of some tropes being repeated too many times (they're creeping away and bump something / stand on something). Took a while to get used to the new voice cast. But overall, it was enjoyable, and I liked the new monster.

It was a very strange show. There were elements I loved - the core dynamic that came about at the end was really interesting. But it took too long to get there, and the flashbacks killed all sense of momentum.

I don't think the show was perfect, but it had potential, and it ended in a really interesting place. It had huge problems with the budget, but I'd have been interested to see where the story went.
