FantasticJerome

I just realized he was in a ton of movies I've never seen. I may need to catch up on a few.

This sounds fun! I wish I lived closer.

I'm looking forward to watching it. I love anything with Matt Damon

I think this is a great idea! I always liked Stuart.

The original symbiote suit is hard to beat!

Brand New Day's suit does look great.

You're right! You can put a mediocre movie on the big screen with popcorn and it makes it worthwhile! Even better if it's a great movie. It's hard to beat it.

I've been rewatching the Spider-Man movies with my kids, and it's made me appreciate some of the different suit designs all over again. The classic Tobey Maguire suit is still my favorite, but I had completely forgotten how unique Andrew Garfield's suit looked. Going back and seeing it again, I like it a lot more than I remembered. Which Spider-Man suit is your favorite? It can be from comics, movies, games, or animation.

Oh there are so many great pieces from Frank Frazetta! I've always loved Death Dealer and the Destroyer is another contender.

I think Spider-Man has the best one-liners, however, I may be biased because Deadpool often gets on my nerves 😂

I agree with this. I think as long as they are true to the character, the plot doesn't necessarily have to be pulled directly from comics.

They LOVE the Raimi movies and we just started the Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield and they like it, but I can tell it's not as much as the originals. I'm just so glad those movies held up they way they did. Yeah I may hold up on Blade for the younger kids 😂 but I think my teenager is ready for it. I'm curious to see if it held up as well.

Cool! I'll check it out! It's been a while since I read Wool, but I remember it being really good. I guess I should pick up the other books too before watching the series.

I like the third one as well. The kids are halfway through it and love it so far! They really like Sandman's story.

This is the first I've heard of it, but if it has Keanu, sharks, and time travel, count me in!

Is that based on Wool? I read the first book a few years ago.

I've been showing my kids some of the older Marvel movies recently. The original X-Men movies didn't really keep their attention. They thought they were a little slow and cheesy. But when we put on Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, they were glued to the screen from start to finish. We're finishing up the third movie tonight, and they've been asking to watch it all week. It got me thinking that Spider-Man has aged incredibly well. It might be one of those rare series, like The Lord of the Rings, that feels almost timeless. Which older Marvel movie do you think has held up the best?

Yeah I think the kids would have a tough time with it, but we go camping often and meet other groups so it could be something good to keep in the camper.

Great list! I'll check these out!

They want to see them all face fatalities lol

I hope it doesn't become another "Lost" where the idea was great, but they eventually lost control of it and didn't know where to go next.

I like the idea of Andrew getting his third movie and Deadpool messing it up throughout 😂

Deadpool is an acquired taste 😂

Yes! That could be Andrew's third movie and Deadpool sets out to destroy it 😂

Spider-Man and Deadpool have teamed up plenty of times in the comics, but we've never seen them share the big screen. Do you think Spider-Man and Deadpool have the kind of chemistry that could carry an entire movie, or do they work better as occasional team-ups in the comics? Personally, I think Spider-Man trying to keep Deadpool under control could make for a lot of fun moments, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks.
