I still enjoy From and look forward to new episodes. However, I hope it doesn't end up like Lost with too many plot holes once we really see what's going on. Also, I just realized that apparently I haven't seen the finale 😂
  2. Now this is a great Lego set!
  3. I had to look him up to see who he was, but they are usually spot on for Batman casting.
  4. Since all the heavy hitters have already been mentioned, I'll go with Geiger. I think it could make for a really compelling animated series, especially if they leaned into a more mature style.
  5. Now that Supergirl is in theaters, it feels like an important movie for the future of the DC Universe. Do you think it's the kind of film that helps DC build long-term momentum, or do you think it'll take a few more successful projects before the new universe really finds its footing?
  6. I think the biggest issue is that they keep hitting the reset button. Every time it feels like they're building toward something, they pivot in a completely different direction. I'd love to see them commit to a single long-term vision and really explore Cybertron before the war, Optimus and Megatron's relationship, and the fall of their civilization. There's still a lot of great Transformers storytelling that hasn't really been explored in live action.
  7. Cool! I'm sure we will go see it soon. My youngest loved the new Superman, so maybe this will be a good one for him to see as well.
  8. Nice! I do have 2 boys who don't even know who He-Man is, they've just seen pictures so this could be a good one for them to see. Where did you get the Power Sword?
  9. Now that both Supergirl and He-Man are in theaters, I'm curious how they stack up for everyone who's seen them. If you've watched both, which one did you enjoy more? Was one a better adaptation, a better action movie, or just more fun overall? And if you've only seen one so far, did it live up to your expectations?
  10. My teenager will make me so I don't have much of a choice 😂
  11. Fantastic Four is probably my answer. I'll always grab the latest F4 book on new comic book day. I really like the new run.
  12. I've noticed that a lot of comic runs eventually change enough that I end up dropping them and moving on to something else. A new writer comes in, the direction changes, or the book just stops clicking with me. That got me wondering: do you have a comic title that you'll keep buying no matter who the writer or artist is? For me, there are certain characters I'll almost always give a chance, even if the creative team changes. Other books live and die based on who's working on them. What about everyone else? Is there a title you'll always pick up, or are you more loyal to specific writers and artists than the character itself?
  13. Has anyone read the Bourne novels? I almost picked up a few last time I was at the bookstore.
  14. I'd be first in line for Last Knight on Earth. A post-apocalyptic DC Universe with Batman carrying around Joker's head in a jar is exactly the kind of wild premise I think people would like to see.
  15. Apparently they did a remake on Netflix, but I didn't even know that until just now.
  16. I barely remember anything about it as a kid to be honest. I may have been too old when it came out.
  17. I'm way behind then 😂
  18. Zendaya doesn't concern me at all. She's proven she can handle pretty much any role. What I'm less sure about is the idea of a complete Bourne reboot. Part of what made the franchise work was Matt Damon as Jason Bourne. If they're going to start over with a new lead and a new continuity, the movie is going to have to do more than just retell the same "amnesiac spy discovers the truth" story. Otherwise it risks feeling like a remake instead of a fresh chapter.
  19. I'm still looking forward to it. Reviews can definitely influence expectations, but I've learned not to put too much stock in scores until I've seen a movie for myself.
  20. I'm kind of torn on this one. Endgame is one of the few movies I'd happily watch in a theater again, but I'm not sure a few extra scenes are enough to get me there. If the new footage ends up being something significant to the future of the MCU, I might be tempted.
  21. I don't think many kids these days have even heard of it, honestly. It's probably more for us to introduce it to our kids. Maybe they have plans to try to bring it back and want to test the waters.
  22. Give Tom another week, he'll let it slip 😂
  23. For me, I'd love to see Geiger get a big-screen adaptation. The world, the visuals, and the post-apocalyptic setting feel like they were made for a movie. Plus, it would be nice to see an Image Comics property become a major film franchise outside of the usual Marvel and DC discussions.
