Do you prefer jumping into a series early or waiting until there’s a backlog?

I’ve noticed some people love starting a series right from the beginning, while others prefer waiting until there’s a solid backlog to catch up all at once.

This applies to comics, TV shows, anime, or anything ongoing. Do you like being there from the start, or do you usually wait until there’s more to dig into?

It really depends for me. If it's something I've been looking forward to, I want to jump in from the beginning. But I often come to things later, after I hear enough about them to realize that it might be a fit for me. And that can be a fun way to get lost in a new world, too.

I'm almost always late on new shows and end up binge watching them right before they end lol

I usually get started late on most series and end up trying to catch up before the end to avoid major spoilers. However, I'm really late on Stranger Things!

I feel that. Sometimes I wait so long that I get sick of hearing about something and decide to skip it altogether, which is me with Stranger Things lol.

The earlier the better. Jumping in late or in the middle is usually a non-starter, especially if the series is already quite long. But, I'll never say never.

I'm usually a few years behind on TV series and comics lol but I also don't mind seeing spoilers most of the time. However, there are a few comic book series that I try to read immediately to avoid spoilers.

I have a bad habit of jumping in in the middle of something, getting confused, having to find the beginning, and start that way. I am the worst.

I do this with TV series all the time!

Did you finally finish Stranger Things? I'm still a couple of seasons behind lol.

To finish Stranger Things, I would have to start Stranger Things haha. I'm just not that interested in it, to be honest, and the inescapable hype made me decide to skip it.
