I was thinking about how many characters are tied to real places, and it got me wondering which superheroes people associate with their home state. Who do you think is the most famous superhero from where you’re from?

I'm based in France, and there are not many superheroes from the country... But we have some cool villains, like Batroc the Leaper, Brain, and Monsieur Mallah.

If we consider my home country, Brazil, that would be Fire!

I'm in Kansas so you KNOW it's Superman.

...and arguably I live reasonably close to where Smallville would actually be so that's fun, too.

But also, fun fact, if we think of the Central City and Keystone being the two sides of KC, then The Flash is from here too.

Hmmm, Oklahoma has Wyatt Wingfoot and Doc Samson from Marvel and Steve Trevor from DC (pre-New 52)

Of course, we were also home for Asgard when it came to Earth.

Nice! We went to Metropolis, Illiniois and it's a small town that has Superman stuff everywhere! We had to take pictures in front of the huge Superman statue.

I'm from Louisiana, so of course we have Gambit! The coolest X-Man! And yes, I understood nearly everything he said in Deadpool and Wolverine 😂 I don't talk like that, but a lot of people from here do.

Their Superman Celebration each year is actually a TON of fun!

In Captain Marvel, Nick Fury said that he was born in Huntsville, Alabama and I yelped in surprise 😂

A cursory search tells me there aren't any major superheroes from my home state of Ohio, sadly.

Ohio buddies! It's funny because so many of the players in early comics history were themselves from Ohio. Apparently not fans of their roots.

My state may be last on the list for a lot of things, but we have a really cool superhero 😂
