I recently found a collection of all 7 issues and had never heard of it. It’s by the creator of Locke & Key, I believe. It is fabulous and something that I feel would make a great movie adaptation. Anybody agree? Disagree?

  2. Part of this can be blamed on how the news was reported from unreliable Twitter scoopers, who said there were four "Trailers" that would be exclusive to movie theaters for the first month of Avatar 3. What's clear, though, is that these are barely even teaser trailers, but also that Marvel's plan isn't some hubristic assumption that people will show up for all of these. They're building hype, even with the leaks. People have to remember that a major chunk of the audience for movies like this aren't living online and combing over every little detail and rumor, so when they see that Steve Rogers teaser ahead of Avatar, it's brand new information for a lot of folks, not onl…

  3. I highly recommend Marty Supreme and Avatar: Fire and Ash, and even though Anaconda isn't "great," it's pretty funny counterprogramming. What's everyone going to see this week?

  4. Come on then, give me your dream fan-casts for the MCU's upcoming X-Men team. I'm on the side of really wanting Sadie Sink to be Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but I'm interested to hear your thoughts on which stars should be involved.

  5. Cap and Thor are the first in line, it seems. After that, we can assume Doctor Doom is next up, but there's a real oppurtunity here to prop up a character who needs it. I'd like to see Captain America or Shang-Chi get a moment in the sun. Who else should be considered?

  6. As we're rounding out the year, I'm realizing 2025 really upped my number of mobile games. I used to really only play Pokemon Go, but as I'm sitting on the couch with family during the holidays I realize I've got quite a rotation to choose from during my idle time. So I'm curious... what do everyone else's mobile gaming habits look like right now? Are there any you play regularly? New ones from the year that you like, or ones you dropped? As for me, my mobile gaming right now looks like: Pokemon Sleep every morning Pokemon TCG Pocket about once a day to open packs Umamusume: Pretty Derby (let's not talk about the amount of time) Pokemon Go, usually casual check-ins a …

As I want to say Flash. The way IDW has made Sonic OP like Archie comics. Sonic would be faster even with Super Sonic, because he couldn't be touched by flash

  8. Overall, the CGI was horrendous... But the adult cast kept me interested as weeks went by; they are all great. Still, the biggest complaint I have with the show is its obsession with explaining every detail of the lore and creating connections with the movies. Pennywise is a lot less scary if we know everything about it, and the fact that they are tying its hunting cycle to the Losers' Club bloodlines makes it more predictable, and I feel it works best as a cosmic beast we can't understand.

I feel like the welcome to Derry ending for season 1 is enough. It should end there. If you start to go into time travel. It creates a complicated paradox. The creature will ultimately die and the outcome will not change. It was a great series but I think where it ended is perfect. It will start to get redundant if It keeps going back to the past to try to change the future. Just my opinion. The book by the way is so good. Im rereading it again.

  10. We all have those toys or gizmos that we saw as kids that still cross our minds every now and again. I remember a couple of Nerf guns that caught my eye but never got my hands on. Whenever I go to the toy section at the store, I have to stop myself from picking one up. Who else has something like that?

  11. Netflix has unveiled the final trailer for volumes 2 and 3 of Stranger Things 5 (you can watch it here). What are your final predictions? I'm definitely curious to see how they will wrap up the Upside Down lore, but I'm afraid Steve will make a heroic sacrifice in the upcoming episodes.

We all watch Home Alone, Die Hard, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Scrooged, Grinch, Rudolph, Frosty, etc. every year... BUT We got into this debate on the ComicBook Nation Pod, given that Anaconda (2025) is very much looking to corner that counterprogramming crowd. So: Are there movies that are the TOTAL OPPOSITE of Xmas spirit YOU watch every year? Ex: ME? I do the Alien franchise in the days leading up to Xmas. Every year. That freaky world and those dark settings make me appreciate the lights and joy so much more. Now YOU GO.
