I have not heard of many of these sci-fi shows! Bugs DarkMatter, etc. I loved Lexx and it was funny, campy and dramatic! Rutger Hauer made an appearance on it.

Haven't had a chance to see it myself, but Iron Lung is getting a lot of attention. Apparently the YouTuber behind it took his millions of followers (totally different world out there) to campaign for a theatrical release and it actually made some money. Is this the new model for the future? Are people going to take things into their own hands independently when all of the studios turn into a conglomerate that avoids theaters?

We’re testing out a new TV this weekend and went with Jurassic World since it felt like a good way to see what it can do on a big screen. Made me curious what everyone else is watching. Are you revisiting an old favorite or starting something new?

This article https://comicbook.com/movies/news/you-only-have-a-week-left-to-stream-an-overlooked-2020s-sci-fi-gem-on-hulu/ Inspired me to explore my streaming options which I'm pleased to say have allowed to to view 4k content in actual-4k-bitrate which is [fraudulently] not available on hulu nor netflix. Thank you for drawing my attention in a useful direction I still have a subscription to most of the stream platforms but now I have a convenient all in one interface

With the news that Xbox boss Phil Spencer is retiring, and Sarah Bond following him out the door, the future of Xbox doesn't look very good. The leadership of Spencer and co. was questionable at best, but he's being replaced with someone with vastly less experience and who has no background in gaming. There is no reason to be enthusiastic about this leadership shakeup, and it comes during a time when Xbox is really struggling. More than this, whether Xbox succeeds or not, remains to be seen -- odds are its decline will continue -- but even if it manages some success, what even is the Xbox brand at this point? Xbox has a real identity crisis, and I think this new executiv…

Pokemon decided to let us in on some of the Pokemon Day news early. Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen are officially coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop right after the Pokemon Presents on February 27th. They're priced at $19.99 USD each. Will you be revisiting Kanto? And if so, FireRed? Or LeafGreen? I always chose Bulbasaur as my starter, so it's a LeafGreen life for me, I think. If I decide to replay them. It depends on what else they throw our way on Pokemon Day for me honestly.

So IDW has the Godzilla vs America series. I've been particularly fond of Godzilla vs Kansas City because, well, KC is home. But it all makes me wonder, what other cities would you like to see Godzilla smash? What cities do you think Godzilla would actually think are cool? I personally half imagine Godzilla for some reason really liking Branson. I have no reason why, just that he might vibe with it.

Since Valentine’s Day just passed, it got me thinking about some of the great relationships in comics. Who is your favorite couple from DC or Marvel?

Still trying to wrap my head around the Bluepoint news from yesterday. I can't believe Sony is just shutting that studio down. Wanted to create a thread where we gamers could vent and talk about the great work Bluepoint did. I played their Shadow of the Colossus and Demon's Souls remakes, plus the Uncharted collection they worked on. Anger was the first feeling I had after seeing the news. Sony had this team working on a God of War live service game? Why? Who was asking for that? Sony's pivot to live service this gen really blew up in their face and it's sad. Bluepoint should have been working on remakes for any one of the classic PlayStation IPs fans want to see again. T…

I have a question for comic collectors about valuation. I have a copy of Superman #1, in an auction currently. It is graded 6.5, unrestored. When assembling provenance, I gathered some pictures I found, from when my father loaned the comic to the Smithsonian Institution for the 50th anniversary Superman Exhibit. Among the pictures, are the stars of Superman IV, including Christopher Reeve, photographed by the side of the exhibit, in front of a wooden Superman wall piece. In another picture the wall piece is visible on the edge of the display showing the comic. The text reads that the comic was in the exhibit, which was timed with the opening of the movie, but it doesn…
