What's your go-to show to binge-watch?
I need to do a rewatch of this! I loved it on my first binge-watch of it, but haven't revisited it since.

What's your go-to show to binge-watch?
I revisit quite a few shows over and over again, but I'd say that mine most definitely has to be Criminal Minds. I've seen that show more times than I can count, and I still haven't grown bored of it. It's perfect background noise when I'm busy and always easy for me to jump back into. Other honorable mentions for me: Derry Girls, Game of Thrones, The Haunting of Hill House/Bly Manor, and Schitts Creek.

Which Video Game Console Is Your All-Time Favorite?
I had a Wii as a kid and snagged one off of eBay a few years ago, and it is still so incredibly fun.

Do you prefer jumping into a series early or waiting until there’s a backlog?
I prefer to be there from the start if it's something that I know I'm most likely going to life, but I've stumbled upon several things pretty late to the game and have loved them.

What tv show did you used to love that has NOT aged well?
Omg! I literally binge-watched this a few months back and literally had to laugh about it. I was obsessed with it while it was airing, and it's definitely still a guilty pleasure show, but it it's definitely not the best.

What is your favorite board game?
Love seeing the Sims game on there!!! I'm a big Sims 4 player, so I've been really interested in the board game but haven't heard much about it so far. May have to grab it soon and try it!

What is your favorite board game?
The original is my favorite simply because I'm a massive Universal Monsters nerd, but I also had a lot of fun with the American Monsters version. I have the D&D version, but haven't had the chance to play it yet, but I'm super excited to give it a go!!

What is your favorite board game?
I've been wanting to play this for so long, but the minimum three player thing has prevented me from caving in and buying it.

What is your favorite board game?
Seeing a lot of great discussions on here about our favorite video games, and it got me thinking: what’s your favorite board game? I discovered Horrified a few years back and fell in love with it. It’s such a fun game, and I love that you can replay it over and over again without it ever being the same. My fiancée and I have set up entire game night Horrified tournaments going up against the different monsters with different heroes.

Gaming Goals for 2026?
I think my goal would really just be to explore the gaming world a bit more. I've really only played a limited number of games, but there are so many others out there that I've been interested in, so I think I'd really just like to try to delve into the world of gaming a bit more than I have so far.

What new TV shows are you most looking forward to in 2026?
I so agree with this! Horror is my favorite and go-to genre for TV and movies, so I'm always psyched when there's something new.

Bones
Also a major Bones fan! It's one of those shows that still holds my interest regardless of how many times I've seen it.

Which Video Game Console Is Your All-Time Favorite?
I'm not a big gamer, but have had a few different consoles over the years. I think my favorite has to be the Game Boy Advance SP. It's probably mostly a nostalgia thing, but I just remember having so much fun playing those games as a kid.

What are your nerdy New Year’s resolutions?
Individual comics. My fiancee was a fan of the comics before the show and has all of them, so they've just been sitting there waiting for me to read!

Movie News You Want to See in 2026
Halloween is honestly what I'm waiting on, too. There's no way they don't reboot it with the milestone 50th anniversary coming up. Curious to see what exactly they do with any future movies, though.

Favorite season of Stranger Things?
I think I'd say that Season 1 is the best season overall, but my personal favorite is Season 4. Max's Running Up That Hill scene is one of my favorite TV scenes ever.

Grade the Stranger Things Finale
I also voted B. It wasn't the best series finale, but I think it wrapped up the story pretty nicely. Lots of tension and great emotional payoff, and I actually really like the more ambiguous ending that lets the viewer decide how they want to believe the story ends.

Definitely fun to be chatting with fellow nerdy folks!

What's the Next Stranger Things?
I'm not quite sure what it will be, but I feel like it's just a matter of time before another show comes along that virtually everyone is hooked on.

What Was Your Favorite Horror Film of 2025 (& Which Are You Most Excited for in 2026?)
I completely forgot about Ready or Not 2! The first one was so good!

One Thing You’d Change About Stranger Things Season 5?
Completely agree. I'll admit that I've ended up really really liking Holly, and I think her storyline is pretty interesting, but it feels so weird to devote so much time to a character who up to this point has been a background character when it's the final season.

What Was Your Favorite Horror Film of 2025 (& Which Are You Most Excited for in 2026?)
Weapons or 28 Years Later. Absolutely loved both. As for next year? There are so many that I'm looking forward to. If I had to choose, my top three would probably be The Bone Temple, Werwulf, and Scream 7.

Are You Sticking With the Stranger Things Franchise After the Main Series Ends?
I think it will really depend on what's announced. I'm a big fan of the main series but I don't necessarily need to see it expand beyond that, so it any other projects sill have to hook me from the get-go.

What’s a TV Show or Mini-Series That You Love But Are Still Embarrassed to Recommend
I'll forever be bitter over the fact that Scream Queens didn't get a third season. It nailed the campy vibe and is just such a fun show to watch.

One Thing You’d Change About Stranger Things Season 5?
I have to agree with the balance shifting quite noticeably, which is posing some issues. We all want to see our favorite characters have big moments and screen time now that it's the final season, but some just aren't getting that. I will say, though, I am really loving Holly's expanded role and Derek is a gem! For me, I really think my biggest issue isn't so much with the show itself as it is the release schedule. The season has felt really flat to me compared to other seasons and I'm struggling to get as invested in it as I typically do, and I think it mostly has to do with how they split it up. I'm planning to binge-watch Season 5 once all 8 episodes are out, and I think I'll end up liking it a lot more that way.
