I remember feeling underwhelmed after The Amazing Spider-Man. I felt like I had just watched a different version of the origin movie I saw 10 years prior. Garfield is a great Spidey, but the movie around him fell flat.

I am planning on seeing Marty Supreme on Friday. Can't wait. Been excited about this one for a while. The trailers have that "inject this into my veins" quality.

I'll also vote for The Last of Us. The opening segment of Ghost of Tsushima. The battle on the beach. I wish you could play that again on New Game+ Spider-Man 2 (Sandman fight) Jedi: Fallen Order (the whole bit where you fight your way through the train)

Superman is mine as well.

I'd like an animated Crash Bandicoot series that harkens back to Saturday morning cartoons. Naughty Dog was inspired by Looney Tunes, so just embrace that.

I second Shang-Chi. Been too long since we've seen him in action. I was so excited to see more of him after his movie too.

There was a lack of Soggy Bottom Boys music. In all seriousness, I think The Odyssey is going to be my favorite movie of 2026.

My vote would be drop online. Like you said, it's better if everyone can access it at once. Especially with this Doomsday thing. People shouldn't have to pay for four Avatar tickets four weeks in a row to see a short teaser.

I just finished the main story last night, and I enjoyed it. It was my first time playing a Metal Gear game. Took a minute to adjust to the stealthy play style (I'm more of a run and gun type haha) but I had fun. I'm gonna give the Snake vs. Monkey minigame a go next. That'll scratch my Ape Escape itch

I've played the first two of the new trilogy but haven't done Shadow of the Tomb Raider yet. Might have to give that one a go before Legacy of Atlantis since they're doing this unified timeline thing now.

Oh that's a shame. I got the Steve Rogers teaser as the last trailer last night. I don't think anyone in the theater made an audible reaction. So either the whole crowd had that spoiled already or just didn't care lol

Now that Fire and Ash is out and people are getting a chance to see it, I thought this would make for a fun topic. Cameron has spoken a lot about how he doesn't know when he'll make Avatar 4 and 5. He recently said there are other films he wants to make and he doesn't want to work exclusively on Avatar for years. After seeing Fire and Ash, do you think he should take a break from Avatar, or just go full speed ahead into the fourth movie? I think it would do him some good to step away for a bit and work on some other things for the time being. I've never been fully invested in the Avatar franchise, but I agree with the consensus that Fire and Ash retreads old ground. Might be better if he allowed the audience to miss it a bit before coming back

Dougray Scott as Old Man Logan

Another one I'll mention is Gears of War: E-Day, assuming it comes to PS5 in 2026 (I don't have Xbox). I'm assuming Microsoft is planning to release it on PS5 at some point, but who knows if it'll be Day 1 or after an exclusive window. I played Gears of War Reloaded over the summer and had fun, so I'd like to play more of this series.

I just hope I get a Doomsday trailer before my Avatar screening tonight. I saw on social media some fans in Europe and South America were complaining they didn't get a teaser.

I never played the original Tomb Raider, but I know it's an iconic game, so I'm excited to check that one out.

Oh god. There are so many. The biggest ones for me would have to be Wolverine and Saros. My wishlist on the PlayStation Store also includes: Resident Evil Requiem Control Resonant Pragmata Onimusha: Way of the Sword 007 First Light The Halo remake (can I just say how weird it was to wishlist this on the PS Store?) The Tomb Raider remake Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Also have my eye on Star Wars Racer, but I'm waiting to see how extensive the single player content is before I get it or not. I'm not interested in multiplayer. So yeah. My wallet is in for a world of pain next year lol

The Swedish Chef is probably the one that makes me laugh the hardest. There's a skit where he tries to cook a dinner for Kermit's family reunion or something and it is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. You can't go wrong with any Muppet though. They're all great. Rowlf always made me laugh too.

The Witcher 3. Medieval fantasy is hardly my favorite genre, so The Witcher was already a tough sell for me, but I wanted to give it a shot because of how acclaimed it is. The main hurdle for me is the length. That game is MASSIVE, especially when you factor in the expansions. I'm not against open world games. Some of my favorite games are open world. But at the pace I play games, The Witcher 3 would take me months to get through, and that's just not appealing to me. I don't mind if something takes about a month or so to complete, but 2-3 months is pushing it. There's so much else out there to play, and I like to play a variety of games. I'd rather split 2-3 months up between three or four games as opposed to just playing one. I know I would be like "I'm so ready for this to be over so I can play something else."

It's Heath Ledger for me. One of the greatest performances ever. Hamill is a close second.

Might be recency bias here, but Andor's "Who Are You?" had me riveted. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. That episode is like waiting to watch a pipe bomb explode.

Yeah. They can be nice palate cleansers after play a big story game you get really invested in.

It might be the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remakes for me. I play a lot of story driven games, and sometimes it's nice to play something where the whole point is nothing more than to just skate around levels and listen to the cool soundtrack

He realized he needed to go see Avatar: Fire and Ash four times to see all of the Doomsday trailers. In all seriousness, it might be because of something that happens in Doomsday or Secret Wars. Some kind of heroic sacrifice
