  1. It's possible. I know there are plenty of people who aren't into the large-scale Marvel movies but will always go see Spider-Man.
  2. I actually haven't seen his solo movie, but I'll try to watch it before Doomsday comes out.
  3. Same! They've always been my favorite. I'm so glad they brought back this version of Cyclops.
  4. Yes! I haven't even really thought of that, but you're right. I actually prefer comic book characters to be different than the live-action versions. You can do so much more with comics than you can with movies.
  5. Yes and it's almost impossible to keep up with all of them! I used to try to get as many Doom covers as possible as well, but it's completely overwhelming and takes up too much space. I feel bad for the completionists.
  6. Now that we've all had a chance to watch the Avengers: Doomsday trailer, which character are you most excited to see? For me, it's still the Fantastic Four. I've been waiting a long time to see them interact with the rest of the Marvel Universe. I was also really excited to see Gambit and Cyclops in the trailer. It finally feels like we're getting to see so many corners of the Marvel Universe come together. Who's at the top of your list?
  7. It would be an interesting twist for sure! Especially if they plan to make many more movies with Doom.
  8. I can't wait to see! It could be the real Steve, but you never know with the multiverse.
  9. I think they could update it by leaning into AI. Instead of focusing only on cybernetics, RoboCop could have to deal with autonomous policing, AI decision-making, or even AI-controlled officers. There are a lot of modern themes they could explore while still keeping the heart of what made the original work.
  10. One moment in the Doomsday trailer really stood out to me. When Thor sends Mjolnir toward Steve to make sure it's really him, it made me wonder if Marvel is hinting that this isn't actually the Steve Rogers we know. Do you think he's our Steve, a multiversal variant, or even someone like Captain Hydra? Or was Thor simply making sure it was really Steve before trusting him? I'm probably reading too much into the scene, but it definitely made me curious.
  11. Agreed. I'm curious to see how Marvel's Midnight Horror Universe will do.
  12. I hadn't thought of Captain Marvel. Honestly, I haven't read much Captain Marvel in a long time.
  13. It gave me chill bumps to see the X-Men, especially Cyclops and Gambit! I think this will be amazing! It was also cool to see Steve Rogers come back.
  14. I'm a big fan of physical media these days and so is my teenager, but we may not have much of a choice in the future, unfortunately.
  15. Every era of comics has its trends. Some stick around because fans love them, while others wear out their welcome. Is there one trend you're ready to see disappear? Constant relaunches? Variant overload? Event fatigue? Characters never staying dead? Something else? For me, I'd be happy if publishers slowed down on the constant #1 relaunches. I like following a series without wondering when the numbering is going to reset again. What about everyone else?
  16. Some heroes are great because of the hero. Others are great because of everyone around them. When you think about allies, villains, family members, and side characters, which Marvel hero has the strongest overall supporting cast? For me, Spider-Man's universe is hard to beat.
  17. Avengers would also be great!
  18. Sometimes I wonder if they make announcements before they're ready to build anticipation, but then realize it will take much longer.
  19. Comic books have given us some incredible headquarters over the years. The Batcave, the Baxter Building, Avengers Tower, the Hall of Justice, Titans Tower, the X-Mansion...there are a lot of great choices. If you could choose one headquarters to call home, which would it be and why? For me, I'd probably pick the Baxter Building if I had to live there permanently. But if we're talking about the coolest place to explore for a day, I don't think anything beats the Batcave.
  20. Possibly something Spider-Man related.
  21. Probably just a small scene. I think her character would fit pretty well.
  22. I'm honestly not surprised. We've watched the first Moana numerous times, but I feel like people are tired of the Rock.
  23. I just realized he was in a ton of movies I've never seen. I may need to catch up on a few.
  24. This sounds fun! I wish I lived closer.
