Got back from a Predator: Badlands screening and it’s one of the most entertaining movies I’ve seen all year. And I hope people make it out to the theater to see it. Projections look low so far because the box office is pretty weak lately.

My local theater isn't showing it, and I'm so mad. It sounds fantastic. At least I got to see Predator: Killer of Killers this year.

It's definitely a lot of fun, like a '90s Dark Horse comic come to life.

No one should be surprised by low box office though, it's the standard for Predator haha

My screening starts in an hour. Thoughts after.

Just was talking to the partner about making it a point to have a theater date to see this one this weekend, actually. Never skip a Predator movie around here.

I can't wait! I love anything Predator related.

I need to rewatch the older ones still. Just got the 4K versions of them a bit ago, hopefully I'll have time to watch all 5 movies tonight and tomorrow night and then see Badlands on Saturday afternoon!

I really did! It's the perfect movie to catch in theaters. The action is just as good as Killer of Killers, but adapted to live-action. They are getting really creative with Predator movies, and I'm all in for it.

Oh, man, the AMC by me has it in IMAX and Dolby. I love the Dolby theater more in this theater, but I wonder if it might be better on IMAX

Loved how the action (which was continuous) actively fed into either plot or character development.

Oh man, the one of the ship is so cool. Though, my wife would kill me if I started up a new collectible lane. lol. I did get the Superman/popcorn machine one this summer though.

It's so hard not to start collecting them lol. I have two of the alien popcorn buckets and may get the ship from this one and just give them their own shelf : )

I love being proved wrong! The PG-13 rating had me frowning, but the movie is actually brutal! It's not horror, but they embrace action, sci-fi, and adventure to create something fresh.

I've heard that Arnold Schwarzenegger is interested in doing another Predator movie now! I hope they film close to my location.

OKAY. Loved Predator: Badlands, Killer of Killers, Prey - but I need some big events and answers soon.

The different Yautja tribes of Badlands and Killer of Killers need better distinction and explanation - as does their relation to the Jungle tribe from Predator and Predator 2. Also need to know how other tribes react to the Grendel King and the Warlord's Tribe going rogue and kidnapping past victors like Naru, Dutch, and Harrington, and freezing them. If we can do a Predator-led movie, a Predator: Civil War movie is now on the table, IMHO.

And, of course, the Weyland-Yutani's insatiable hunt for bio-weapons (Alien movies and Alien: Earth) eventually has to collide with the Yautja's hunting territories. That's the AvP movie I need.

OMG, to be honest, I think this is one of the best Predator movies. It actually reminded me a lot of The Mandalorian it gave me that same vibe. The mix of humor, action, and cuteness was really well done.
